I’m so excited! You’re going to love this…it’s time to announce the annual JOANN 2024 Fall Stitch Along!

Drum roll, please…

But before I tell you what we’re making, let me tell you there’s something for both knitters and crocheters. They are different project types, but no matter which you choose, you’ll have fun. I’m sure of it.

I’ll take care of the knitting project and Dani, from CJ Design will be helping the crocheters. We all get to join in the fun.

So, What is the JOANN 2024 Fall Stitch Along?

Well, it’s an opportunity for crafters to get together and work on the a project at the same time. You can share notes, show your progress, ask questions, and generally enjoy the online company of other crafters. I’ll tell you how in just a bit.

This year, I get to show you everything you need to know to make this gorgeous Texture & Stripes Slip Stitch Mosaic Knit Paneled Cocoon . The Yarnspirations design team worked on this project and I LOVE it! I’ve been wearing it already!

It’s a knit mosaic stitch project, and I can’t wait to get you started. But I’ll have to wait.

When do we start the Spring Stitch Along?

Monday, October 7th, is when the JOANN 2024Spring Stitch Along kicks off, and it’ll run for four weeks.

I’ll break it into 4 sections, so you’ll get your pattern instructions over the course of those four weeks. Seriously, guys, knitting your own ruana will be a breeze. I’ll make sure of it.

I’ll be teaching you tips, tricks, and shortcuts on helpful videos to be sure you easily succeed.

When does the JOANN Fall Stitch Along start?

So here’s the thing… the JOANN 2024 Fall Stitch Along officially kicks off on Monday, October 7th! It’ll be running for a total of four weeks, and I’ll be breaking it down into sections to make it super manageable.

What yarn do I need for the knit cocoon cardigan?

Honestly… you’ll need Bernat® Fluffee™ yarn for the knit project. For the BRIGHT version, you’ll want MC in Ocean Depths, Contrast A in Citronella, and Contrast B in Vivid Pink, but make sure you check the yardage based on your size!

Is there a crochet project too?

Yes! While I’m focusing on the knit cocoon cardigan, Dani from CJ Design will be guiding all you crocheters through a different, super fun project. It’s awesome that they have something for both knitting and crochet lovers!

Where can I find the patterns for the stitch along?

You’ll be able to find the patterns linked on the JOANN page, but I’ve also got them right here on my blog! I’ll be releasing them weekly, along with helpful video tutorials to guide you through each step.

Will there be a place to chat with other crafters?
