Marly Bird is a knitwear and crochet designer who shares her knowledge and passion for all things bicrafty.

A woman models a vibrant Tunisian crochet scarf with detailed stitching, standing outdoors in natural sunlight.

Marly Bird wears many hats, both figuratively and literally. A wife to a loving husband, a knitwear & crochet designer, a track & field coach, a mom to three teenage kids, and of course a yarn addict, she can juggle life with sharp tools in hand.

She learned to crochet from her grandmother in 1999, and her passion for yarn was instant.

Learning to knit from a dear friend in 2004, Marly became an intrepid crafter, taking bits and pieces of things she loved to create something new. She was clearly on her way to becoming a pattern designer.

And because that isn't enough hats, Marly's love of teaching spawned her YouTube channel where she teaches you step by step not only HOW to do things, but WHY they are being done.
