Shawl lovers unite! No matter the craft, knitters and crocheters can agree shawls are the perfect accessory. So many ways to make them, gauge not super important, all yarn work, and the construction possibilities are endless. Join me and Moogly as we explore both crafts and two different ways to make beautiful shawls, one knit shawl and one crochet shawl.
Truly we are better together. Working together with other designers inspires us and expands what we are capable of doing. I LOVE working with Tamara and being part of the Yarnspirations team.
For this winter we thought that it would be fun to work on a project together. Tamara is making a crochet shawl and I am working on a knit version. Once we had the type of pattern selected we talked about what yarn we would use.
Working with Yarnspirations gives us a plethora of yarn to pick from. We decided to use Chic Sheep by Marly Bird™ because it is 100% Merino Wool. I know that some people say that wool is scratchy but this wool has been treated to make it super soft! It is also machine washable making it a super great option for gift giving! I can’t forget to tell you that there are also 24 colors to pick from!!!
