In this video tutorial I will show you how to make the Shivering Chic Crochet Shawl. This is a great beginner shawl. If you can double crochet you can make this shawl, I promise. Work through the pattern with me to make sure you understand how the stitches work. If you missed something, just rewind the video and watch it again. Grab your supplies and let’s get started.

About the Shivering Chic Crochet Shawl:
Not only is this shawl made up of six beautiful colors of Chic Sheep by Marly Bird™ yarn but it is also designed by me! The combination of colors is what really makes this shawl pop. Choose from the 24 colors of Chic Sheep yarn and you won’t be disappointed.
Designing this shawl I was thinking about showcasing colors and how they play together. Selecting a three double crochet cluster as my stitch pattern really allows the color to be the main feature.
This shawl is very easy when it comes to construction. Starting at the center back and increasing at the center and sides each round you will work down to the point of the shawl. Finishing off the shawl I have added a large tassel to each point. Although the tassel adds movement to the shawl it is optional.
If you have worked a granny square before this shawl will feel familiar. Starting with a magic loop and working only half of the granny square you will get this beautiful finished shawl. Included in this tutorial I will show the way that I weave in ends, because there will be quite a few. I also show you how to make the wonderful full tassels that I have included with this project as well.
