With over 500 published knitting designs in her portfolio, her work has been featured in many major publications and books worldwide. She also edits and photographs other knitting books, plans and executes social media for numerous yarn companies and teaches advanced knitting in the Metro DC area. Tanis had her own regularly-featured TV spot on PBS’ Knitting Daily TV with Vickie Howell and has taught multiple online Fair Isle classes for Craftsy/Bluprint. It is her goal to help anyone who wants to learn how to knit accomplish their fiber goals.

    Knitting is Magic! It really is. My children say that I really a a witch. I take to sticks (wands), a book (speelbook), mumble under my breath (say incantation), and POOF! There is a sweater, scarf, socks, etc.

    knittingismagic – I will definitely purchase if I don’t win! My 24 year old is so into Harry Potter and loves my knitting – each year we go to Milwaukee and listen to the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra play along with one of the Harry Potter movies! This is sooooo exciting. My daughter is a Hufflepuf and I’m a Gryffindor.

    Harry Potter obsessed knitter and crocheter here! I’m a proud Hufflepuff with a little bit of Ravenclaw mixed in.
