Red Heart is offering this pattern for FREE on their website. Using only 1 or 2 balls, depending on size, of Red Heart With Love it is a very reasonably priced project. The cardigan is worked top down allowing you to try it on as you work, perfect to make a custom size.

For this video tutorial I have put together a right handed version. I have then created a left handed version by mirroring the camera.
