Knitting on the bias creates a diagonal fabric with a naturally beautiful drape. The opulence of the slanting cables is enhanced by both the weight and sheen of the yak and bamboo blend yarn. The vest naturally hangs slightly open for a very flattering fit.
Written out and with a chart this pattern is easy to follow along with. After you have learned how to do knit cables this would be a project to really push your skills to the next level. If you haven’t done knit cables before I would suggest starting with something simpler to get an understanding of how cables work first. Learn about knit cables on my YouTube channel.
