NOTES
- Use a small hook, smaller gauge, and thinner yarn for small ornament size. Use larger hook, larger gauge, and thicker yarn for the gift card holder (medium size).
- Project is worked by changing colors at the end of every round in the body and crown. Change colors in the following order: A, B, C for small ornament and A, B, C, D, E for medium ornament.
- Change color at join at end of round, leave the old color hanging out. When it is time to rejoin with a new color, float the old color up the side of the work to use it. Insert hook into first st, fold in new color, pull through st and loop on hook. This will join the round together and change the color. Then continue in pattern leaving the new old color just hanging out. This method will create a float at each color change up the inside of the hat.
