About Super Saver Fair Isle:
Super Saver Fair Isle is the same Super Saver you love but now in new prints. Prints magically appear as you stitch – no need to change colors, one skein does it all! Best of all it is still a center pull skein!
Super Saver Fair Isle allows you to get a Fair Isle look without all of the work of changing colors. It will NOT be exactly how it would if you were doing the patterning yourself from a chart. The pattern in the video tutorial is designed to place the color changes in a way so that the yarn is working in the most optimal way.
Faux Fair Isle Crochet Scarf Materials:
- RED HEART® Super Saver Fair Isle®: 2 skeins 7245 Candy
- Susan Bates® Crochet Hook: 5.5mm [US I-9]
- Yarn needle
What you will Learn:
In this video tutorial of the Faux Fair Isle Crochet Scarf you will learn more than just how to work the pattern.
- Starting Chain
- Adding a new ball of yarn
- Weaving in your ends
- How to use a removable stitch marker
Edited to add: since the release of this pattern, Yarnspirations has remade the scarf using Red Heart Super Saver Ombre. Yes, this pattern can be made using the Ombre yarn but you will not get the desired Faux Fair Isle look the yarn makes. I suspect Yarnspirations is discontinuing this yarn and wants to still use the pattern.
