What is the Christmas Stocking Make-Along

The 2020 Christmas Stocking event is a make-along for both knitters and crocheters. We can all work together on this project as we each make a beautiful Christmas stocking. Briana Kepner (Briana K Designs) is our special guest designer and has created a beautiful knit stocking for our event. I, Marly Bird, designed the crochet stocking.

Make-alongs, in this case a Christmas stocking -along, are a great way for knitters and crocheters to work alongside each other making something that is similar but not identical. This project will be idea for advanced beginners.

This is a one day event and I will release new sections of the project every 2 hours starting at 10am eastern time, see the full schedule below. If you follow along with the links below you will be able to make each section for each hour. At the end of the of the day you will have a new beautiful Crochet Christmas stocking or Knit Christmas stocking ready for gifting or hanging.

If you can’t start with us at 10am don’t worry! This pattern and links will stay here so that you can participate anytime that you would like. There will also be a PDF pattern for both the knit and crochet version when the event is over.
