Frequently Asked Questions

Are these amigurumi patterns really free?

Yes! Honestly, all of these patterns are completely free on the Yarnspirations website. You can find the links right here in the post!

What yarn should I use for these critters?

So here’s the thing… most of these cuties are designed with Red Heart Amigurumi yarn in mind. The idea is you can get two toys out of each cake of yarn, which is pretty neat!

Is there a knit pattern in this list?

Well, there is one! It’s pattern number 7, the Knit Zebra. All the others are crochet patterns.

Can I make these if I’m just starting out?

Honestly… most of these are listed as advanced beginner, so you’ll want to know your basic crochet stitches. But don’t worry, you can totally learn amigurumi as you go!

Where can I get the ad-free PDF versions of these patterns?

Great question! You can find the ad-free PDF versions in The Pattern Shop on my website. They’re a super convenient way to have all your patterns in one place!
