From this point forward, change colors every round. It is helpful know that all “a” rows use color A, all “b” rows use color B.

Also, follow the instructions for the following rounds two rounds below the current round and around the chains of the previous round when possible. 

Round 7a: Ch 5, *skip 2 dc, dc in next 3 dc 2 rounds below**, ch 3; repeat from * around ending at **. Join with a slip stitch to the 2nd ch of beginning chain 5.

Round 7b: Ch 2, *dc in next 2 dc 2 rounds below, ch 4, skip 3 dc; repeat from * around. Join with a slip stitch to the first dc. 

Round 8a: Ch 5, *skip 2 dc, dc in next 3 dc 2 rounds below**, ch 3; repeat from * around ending at **. Join with a slip stitch to the 2nd ch of beginning chain 5.

Round 8b: Ch 4 (counts as beginning ch and ch- 2 sp), skip 1 dc 2 rounds below, *dc in next dc 2 rounds below, FPDC around next dc, ch 1, skip 1 dc, FPDC around next dc, dc in the dc 2 rounds below**, ch 6, skip 5 sts (1 dc 2 rounds below, 3 dc from previous round, 1 dc 2 rounds below); repeat from * around ending at **, ch 4, skip last 4 sts.
