Beginner Crochet Lace Scarf:

Crochet lace doesn’t have to be scary and it doesn’t have to be reserved for the advance crocheters. If you have wanted to learn crochet lace now is the time. Grab your FREE Dainty Feather and Fan Scarf pattern along with your Croquette yarn and let’s get started.

Beginner Crochet Lace Scarf

Croquette is a brand new yarn from Red Heart. Learn more about it below.

The feather and fan chevron stitch pattern is made up of only two rows. You repeat those rows for the entire length of the scarf, then single crochet around the scarf and call it good.

Before starting this video you should know how to chain and how to work the single crochet. Inside the video you will learn how to do the treble crochet (sometimes called the triple crochet). Using these few stitches you will be able to work the entire scarf pattern.

Croquette Yarn:

Red Heart Croquette yarn

Croquette is a beautiful crochet thread with a string of metallic running through it. Because of its light weight nature it is the perfect yarn for working light shawls.

Each cake of yarn comes with 239 yards. This is a generous amount of yarn and you can make a ton of one cake projects. Made up of 92% Cotton, 5% Polyester, 3% other fiber (the metallic strand) you will find that this is the perfect spring and summer yarn.
