Make it yours! I loved listening this evening and looked at the pictures on revelry as I listened. There were lots of great details and I love the ideas of customizing patterns like this.
Make it yours……this is what my knitting needs! I want to have tools to know how to make my visions come alive. Ioften you love a certain sweater, but want to have it for a summer sweater with open neck & short sleeve while keeping the center design. I don’t want to chance what I think I should do & waste time & expensive yarn so often i don’t have the confidence to try
Hi Marley! I just listened to the “The Art of Seamless Knitting” episode. I love how you got Simona and Faina to share their cultural backgrounds and they design approaches. The interview was very informative. Sounds like my kind of book, many children’s sweaters knit but none for me. The ideas and tips in this book would give me the confidence to knit a one of a kind sweater for me. A make it yours sweater.
I have been curious how to turn a sweater patterns into knitting in the round. Listening to your podcast this book sounds like it has lots of instructions for knitting techniques. To” make it yours”, I love the patterns also. Thanks
I loved the podcast as always, hearing about Simona and Faina’s story and how they support “making it yours” in knitting was really inspirational. I’m not a very advanced knitter and have been too timid to try to alter designs at all, so this book would certainly be useful! Andie
