Play 1 is 19” [48 cm] wide by 9.5” [24 cm] tall.
Gauge
19 sts by 12 rows in Play 1 stitch pattern = 4.5” [11.5 cm] x 4.25” [11 cm]; use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

Berroco, Vintage DK (52% Acrylic/ 40% Wool/ 8% Nylon, 290 yds / 266 m, 3.5 oz/ 100 g, CYCA# 3 DK), 2 hanks each:

SPECIAL STITCHES
⭐️Double Crochet (Dc): Yarn over hook, Insert hook into indicated stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, * yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook; repeat from * once more.
⭐️Single Crochet (Sc): Insert hook into indicated stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook.
⭐️ Front Loop Only (FLO): Work into the closest of the top two loops of the stitch indicated, regardless of right side or wrong side.

NOTES
- Gauge is not critical for this project. Just note that if your gauge is larger than the one listed, you will have a larger project that uses more yarn then listed.
- Play 1 is worked from the center out into a triangle.
- Place Marker in the center stitch and move throughout.
- Place Marker in the first RS row to help remember which rows are RS.
- Change color when there are 2 loops left of the previous stitch. Carry Color A up side of the project. Colors B, C, and D can be fastened off after use.

NETFLIX AND CHILL CROCHET PATTERN
PLAY 1
With color A, chain 4.
Row 1 (WS): 6 dc in 4th ch from hook (skipped ch count as dc), place marker in 3rd dc made (this will mark the center of the project throughout) turn — 7 dc.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc throughout), 2 dc in first dc, dc in each dc to marker, 5 dc in marked dc, move marker to center dc, dc in each dc to tch, 3 dc in top of tch, change color to B, do not fasten off color A, turn – – 15 dc.
Row 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in first dc, sc in front loop only of each dc to marker, 3 sc in marked dc, move marker to center sc, sc in front loop only of each dc to tch, 2 sc in top of tch, turn – – 19 sc.
Row 4: Ch 1, 2 sc in first sc, sc in each sc to marker, 3 sc in marked sc, move marker to center sc, sc in each sc to last sc, 2 sc in last sc, change color to A, fasten off color B, turn – – 23 sc.
Row 5: Ch 3, 2 dc in first sc, dc in front loop only of each sc to marker, 5 dc in marked sc, move marker to center dc, dc in front loop only of each sc to last sc, 3 dc in last sc, turn – – 31 dc.
Rows 6-17: Repeat Rows 2-5 three times, changing colors to C, A, D, A, B, A in pattern- 103 dc.
Row 18: Repeat Row 2 once more, do not fasten off. Weave in all ends – 111 dc.

Optional but helpful:Steam Block to finished size, if desired, before moving to Play 2.
