Every year I offer a few make-alongs that are super popular. One of these is the annual Game Day Mystery Make-along. On Super Bowl Sunday, we all play along together knitting and crochet with clues released every hour or two throughout the day. At day’s end, you have a new project. Crochet pineapples are a classic design that you can update to a contemporary look with your yarn choice. That’s what I’ve done here with this crochet shawl pattern, which is my third most popular Ravelry free crochet pattern. 4. Ribbed for Him and Her Messy Bun Optional Hat

There are a couple of great things about this free crochet hat pattern. First of all, you have the option to make it a messy bun hat. What people really love most though is the unique brim that you can create for this hat.

Who doesn’t love a really quick, easy, instant gratification project? This headband is something you can work up really fast with a little bit of yarn from your stash. However, that doesn’t mean it’s not special. It’s one of my most popular Ravelry free crochet patterns because it’s a great self-care gift.
