Worked up with Chic Sheep by Marly Bird™ not only will you have 24 colors to choose from but you will also have a super soft scarf at the end. This was one of the first pieces that I had designed in my yarn for the first collection. My Friend Rebecca designed this scarf for me as part of the first collection of Chic Sheep patterns. When I first launched my yarn line it was so important for me to showcase the talents of my friends who have supported me along the way.

Mitered squares are a technique that we should all know how to do. Although they are squares the colors and the size changes in this pattern really make it stand out. No matter what kind of day you are having, when you put on this scarf you are bound to smile.

The Miter Me This Chic Scarf is made up of three different sizes of mitered squares. Starting with the largest squares and then building the next two rows. Through this tutorial you will learn now to work mitered squares and how to join them in multiple rows.

Starting off this project we will be using the long tail cast on. If that is a technique that you aren’t familiar with be sure to check out my tutorial before getting started on this scarf. Not only can you customize your finished scarf but the tools that you use along the way. For this pattern you will need some stitch markers. Be sure to check out my tutorial on making your own knit stitch markers and removable stitch markers.
