As spring rolls around kids are starting to play outside. The more kids are outside and playing together the more times they will get boo boos. It was always a struggle for me to get my kids to use an ice pack because it was “too cold”. Now, with the boo boo bunny you can reduce swelling with something your kids will want to use. Boo Boo tested, bunny approved.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a different yarn for the Boo Boo Bunny?

Honestly… you can totally try! The pattern suggests Red Heart Scrubby Smoothie and Scrubby Cotton. But if you have something else in your stash, go for it! Just keep in mind that changing the yarn might change the size and feel of your finished bunny pouch.

How do I make the bunny ears?

So here’s the thing… after you finish knitting and bind off, you just fold the whole piece in half. Then, you take a scrap piece of yarn in the same color as your bunny and tie the ear parts together like pigtails. Easy peasy!

Is this pattern really free?

Yes! You’re getting the Boo Boo Bunny Knit Pouch pattern totally free right here on the blog. It’s my way of sharing a fun and useful project with all of you!

What size needles do I need?

For this project, you’ll want to use US size 8 knitting needles that are 14 inches long. That size works perfectly with the yarn recommended to get that cozy texture for the bunny pouch.

Can I add extra decorations?

Absolutely! The pattern mentions you can add optional details with those Scrubby Cotton scraps and a yarn needle. Think little embroidered eyes or a cute nose – get creative and make your boo boo bunny extra special!
