Dancer’s Delight Knit Cowl – Charts 4 and 5

🎄 Sleigh the Holiday Make-Along – Charts #4 & 5 for Knit Cowl! 🧶
We’re getting closer to the finish line! Two charts to complete in this section. I think these two really bring this piece to a nice balance.

Colorwork for More Holiday Cheer!

Feeling the holiday spirit and want to keep on stitching? 🎄✨ Then you’re going to love Charts 4 & 5—two chart sections that let you extend your Dancer’s Delight Knit Cowl with even more festive flair.

These charts are completely optional and designed for knitters who want to make their cowl a little taller, add extra color motifs, or just enjoy a few more cozy hours with their yarn. Because honestly… can you ever have too much colorwork? (Answer: nope. Never. 😂)

You can follow one, both, or skip them entirely—the choice is yours! This pattern is meant to flex with your creativity.

This is your permission slip to play! Go bold, go subtle, go extra-festive—or save these for your next version. Whatever you choose, you’re in charge of your own holiday stitch vibe 💃🧶

NOTES

  • Use the stranded or Fair Isle technique to complete the body of the cowl.
Read stitches on charts from right to left, and rounds from bottom to top.
  • The chart represents a portion of the project, therefore each row of the chart will be worked on repeat until all the stitches of the round are complete.
    • It is recommended to use stitch markers between repeats to keep count.
  • When stranding a color beyond 4-6 sts, tuck the float (see Video Tutorials).
  • Do not carry colors more than 1 round. Cut and rejoin when the color is in use once again.
  • Weave in all tails when each chart is complete before moving to next chart.
  • Some rounds include three or more colors. If you’d prefer to simplify your colorwork, you can absolutely add one or more of those colors later using duplicate stitch after the knitting is complete. No worries—this is a great option, and it still looks fabulous! 💡 Need help? Check out this video on how to work duplicate stitch.
