Working along the chain edge, count 10 stitches before the start of the round, pm.

With Color B

 Row 1 (RS): Join yarn at the marker with a sc between the stitches of round 1 of the piece NOT in the free loop of the beginning chain [see image below], sc in the next 19 sts, ch 1, turn — 20 sc. do not remove marker

Row 2 (WS): Sc in first sc and in each of the next 6, ch 1, turn — 7 sc, leave remaining stitches of row 1 left unworked. 

Row 3 (RS): Sc in first sc and in each of the next 6 sc, ch 1, turn. 

Row 4 (WS): Sc in first sc and in each of the next 6 sc, ch 1, turn. 

Repeat rows 3 and 4 until measures 4” [10 cm] from row 1. 

Line up the RS of the pieces together (so the WS of the fabric will be facing YOU) match up the first stitch of row 1 with the first stitch of the row you are on. Working through both fabrics slip stitch the pieces together. 

Fasten off.

Be ready for the 10am Play.
