It’s A Wrap One Ball Patterns
It’s a Wrap is a beautiful yarn from Red Heart and Yarnspirations. There are currently four different types of It’s a Wrap yarn each with their own unique qualities. Because the yarn is a thinner yarn there is quite a substantial amount of yarn that comes in each cake. Here is a collection of projects that you might enjoy making with JUST ONE ball of the It’s a Wrap family of yarns. Featuring many of my favorite designers, here is my round up of It’s A Wrap one ball patterns.

About It’s A Wrap
The It’s A Wrap family is made up of four different yarns.
When It’s a Wrap first came out cake yarns were making it BIG in the yarn world. Red Heart introduced this new yarn not to jump on the band wagon, but rather to fill a void in the market. So what is the difference between all four versions of the yarn?
It’s A Wrap:
It’s A Wrap was the first to the market and made the look of color blocking easier for the consumer.
It’s a Wrap is a weight 1-super fine yarn and has 1,100 yds per cake. There are 7 available colors.
I would not call this sock yarn because most people associate sock yarn with some wool content. It’s a Wrap is made up of 50% cotton and 50% acrylic.
It’s A Wrap Rainbow:
The Rainbow version of this yarn took our color choices to the next level. With the original It’s A Wrap the colors were very broken, stopping abruptly between each color. With the Rainbow version you are having four strands held together that change over time giving amazing color results.
Because there are four strands held together the weight of this yarn did move up to the #2 (sport) category. Each ball has 623 yards and comes in 8 beautiful colors. These balls are made up of 55% acrylic and 45% cotton.
It’s A Wrap Sprinkles:
Like the Rainbow version, sprinkles has a more gradual fade between colors. The biggest addition to the Sprinkles yarn is that there are additional sprinkles of color throughout your ball. This give another great dimension to the yarn.
Because there are four strands held together the weight of this yarn did move up to the #2 (sport) category. Each ball has 623 yards and comes in 8 beautiful colors. These balls are made up of 50% cotton and 50% acrylic.
It’s A Wrap Hues:
It’s a Wrap Hues is the newest of the It’s A Wrap family. Create unique designs with contrasting color movement. You will be amazed at the color possibilities with this yarn. Although it is not classified as a planned pooling yarn the color stories that you can tell with this yarn are amazing.
Color range includes jewel tone combinations and neutrals that pop against lively colors.
This yarn also has four strands held together making it a weight #2 (sport) yarn. Each ball has 623 yards and comes in 6 beautiful colors. These balls are made up of 50% cotton and 50% acrylic.
