Braided cable knit throw in soft lavender, featuring a textured stitch, draped elegantly over a light-colored armchair.

Fall in love with this most wonderful, soft yarn with a short furry texture. Not only will you love knitting with this bulky weight yarn, you will enjoy wrapping yourself in luxurious softness for years to come.

For this pattern you will be using circular needles. This is suggested to accommodate the number of stitches required for the blanket. If you use straight needles it will get heavy and you might not have enough room on the needle for all of the stitches needed.

This is a very Pottery Barn -esque throw and will be a family favorite. Learn to knit garter, stockinette, and a braided cable (3/3 LC, 3/3 RC) while working this pattern.

About Hygge Yarn:

The Danish concept of coziness, comfort and warm relationships. Hygge evokes feelings of well-being and contentment. When you think of Hygge you can picture sitting by the fire curled up with a great project and a copy of your favorite hot beverage. The slipper socks that we made during the 2018 KAL were very much from the Hygge movement.
