Diamond Mosaic Crochet Square

The Free Crochet Pattern Diamond Mosaic Crochet Square is a fairly simple pattern that utilizes strategically placed double crochet stitches to make a visually appealing fabric. Lately I have been playing around a lot with charts and crochet mosaic stitches so this square is a great representation of what I am most interested in right now.

This square was made as block #15 of the 2019 Moogly CAL (side note, omg…the squares this year are so awesome!) For my square, I wanted to have the crocheter make a block that was simple yet could still stand up to the wonderful squares already designed for the blanket. Yarn With Love–RED HEART® With Love®, Art. E400 available in solid color 7 oz (198 g), 370 yd (338 m), multicolor 5 oz (141 g), 230 yd (211 m) and stripes 5 oz (141 g), 223 yd (204 m) skeins;

1 skein (color A)
1 skein (color B)

Hook: J/10 (6mm) adjust hook size to maintain gauge

Gauge: 12.3 sts and 12 rows = 4” in mosaic stitch pattern

DO NOT CUT YARN, color will be carried up the side and changed every 2 rows.
