Knit Video Tutorial-How to Knit the FREE Asymmetrical Knit Shawl Pattern:

For this shawl you will start at the point of the shawl with just 5 stitches and work your way through the pattern. As you work you will use simple increases to create the larger shawl throughout the project. Throughout the pattern you will find a combination of garter stitch, stockinette stitch and lace work. In this video tutorial I will walk you through how to work the lace section so that you have success with this pattern.

It’s A Wrap is a cotton acrylic blend yarn with LONG color changes. The yarn does all of the work for you in the color changes of this pattern, you can focus on the pattern itself. Best of all these cakes of yarn contain 1,100 yards! With that many yards per cake you are able to finish this entire pattern with just one cake. If you only have one cake of yarn for the total project you should only have TWO ends to weave in!

This is a super fine weight yarn so be prepared that this project might work slower than you are used to. Although the pattern uses thin yarn it is so beautiful when it is finished it is worth it. The drape of the shawl is wonderful and the perfect addition to your wardrobe for those cool summer nights or your AC office building.
