Yarnspirations Patterns of the Week 1/6 to 1/10

Each week, we are pulling together some of our favorite patterns from the Yarnspirations website. We will try to stick with a theme each week, but sometimes, it’ll just be a collection of our favorites. Use these patterns to inspire you to try new projects or even some new yarn!

Yarnspirations Patterns Weekly Theme

This week, we will feature a collection of dress and tunic patterns in knit and crochet. Each of these patterns is FREE on the Yarnspirations website.

Featured Patterns of the Week

  1. Bernat Slouchy Sweater Dress – A simple knit stitch, cozy cowl neckline, and handy pockets make this snuggly sweater dress a breeze to knit.
  2. Patons Little Black Dress – Simple meets stylish with this two-tone stockinette stitch, 3/4 sleeve dress, including waist shaping and cable-trimmed cuffs and hem.
  3. Bernat Dress with Kangaroo Pockets – Relaxed and casual, describe this short-sleeved, longer-length tunic with a hoodie-style pocket. Accent scarf pattern included.
  4. Patons Honeycomb Aran Dress – Four types of cables adorn this classic raglan sleeve, knit Aran dress pattern. Shown styled in 3 ways.
  5. Caron Cabled Tunic – A deep, waist-length V-neck knit Aran tunic with elbow-length sleeves. Ideal for a teen or small-busted woman.
  6. Not So Granny Tunic – This granny square-style crochet tunic rocks in long color-changing yarns and is great as a beach cover-up or a layering piece for cooler weather.
  7. Red Heart Moniques Tunic – Simple stockinette stitch knit tunic with short sleeves and deep V-neck. Shown in shaded self-striping yarn.
  8. Red Heart Tonyas Tunic – Round neck, long sleeve tunic length top in openwork crochet stripes. Ideal for layering in many ways with a peekaboo look.

Many of these patterns are very simple stitches and easy to work. For easy knits, try the stockinette stitch patterns. If you want something more intricate and timeless, challenge yourself with the knit Aran patterns – they’re beautiful but will definitely take longer to make.

Numbers 6 and 8 are crochet patterns. They’re both simple stitches. The granny square tunic is easier with less shaping, but both are interesting designs.
