About Chic Sheep:

Just incase you haven’t heard about Chic Sheep by Marly Bird™ I thought that I would take a minute to introduce you. Chic Sheep by Marly Bird™ is my NEW yarn line that I teamed up with Red Heart on. It is their first natural fiber yarn made of 100% Merino Wool.

This yarn will become your work horse yarn that you go to for everything once you get your hands on it. The softness of this yarn makes you want to rub it all over your face! You will be able to use this for every project that you can think of. It is machine washable so you can use it for beautiful heirloom baby gifts without worrying about how it will be cared for. Just tell the recipient not to throw it in the dryer to lengthen its life span.

Purchase Chic Sheep by Marly Bird

You won’t be able to find Chic Sheep by Marly Bird™ in stores just yet. Coming this fall you will start to see it in your local big box stores. Be sure to shop there and let them know how much you love it to be sure that you get all 24 colors in your store.

Yes, that is right I did just say that there are 24 colors in the line!!! They are perfectly paired to be used together or on their own. Each ball has 186 yards which is a generous amount of merino wool. Be sure to get your first ball today and check out all of the other patterns designed specifically in Chic Sheep by Marly Bird™. Let me know what you think of the yarn when you try it out. Post a comment here, comment on the Marly Bird™ Facebook page or in the Marly’s Minions Facebook Group.

Video Tutorial Notes:

Before we get started I want to make sure that you understand that this video will not make you watch me make the entire shawl. That would be painful for all of us! In this tutorial, like all of my tutorials, I should how to work through one repeat of the pattern. Once we get through the repeat section I will then show you how to finish the last rows and add the border.

You will need to download the pattern because you will not have the entire pattern by watching the video. I have both a right handed and left handed version of the video below.
