Ladies (Mens)
8 (10.5)” [ 20.5 (26.67) cm]
MATERIALS
Yarn–RED HEART® Chic Sheep by Marly Birdâ„¢; 2 balls: #r170 Poolside
Needles–US #5/3.75mm set of 5 double pointed needles
Notions
- Removable Stitch marker
- Tapestry needle
GAUGE
24 sts= 4 inches in St st
PATTERN NOTES
Watch the video for more explanation about how to cast on using the “No Cuss Cast-On for DPN’s”, how to join in the round, and how to make sure the stitches are not twisted.
To keep the dreaded “second sock syndrome” from happening I highly suggest that you get an extra set of needles and make two socks at the same time. Make the first cuff, then use the extra set of needles and other ball of yarn to make the second cuff.
Have patience if this is your first time working with dpn’s. It takes some getting used to but after you get the cuff complete you will feel more confident.

PATTERN
Cuff
Using long tail cast on, cast on 48, (64) sts onto 4 needles [12 (16) sts per needle] and join to work in the round, being careful not to twist sts.
Knit 1 round.
*Knit 1, purl 1; repeat from * around.
Work in the k1, p1 ribbing pattern until cuff measures: 1.5 (2)”
