6 Quick & Free Crochet Easter Patterns

Crochet Easter Pattern Roundup:

Last week I showed you the great Easter projects that Red Heart has for FREE on their website. This week I have found six more cute crochet Easter patterns that are quick and FREE. Be sure to head to Ravelry and add these patterns to your favorites and show the designers some love.

Crochet Bunny WreathTo start us off, I found the Crochet Spring Bunny Wreath, designed by Repeat Crafter Me. Talk about a super cute project that you could work up in one night! With a quick trip to the craft store you could college all the materials that you need for this project. This would be a great opportunity to use your paper crafting machine if you have one to decorate the sentiment that you choose.

Red Heart Sweet YarnAlthough the pattern calls for Bernat Blanket yarn you could substitute that with Red Heart Sweet Home yarn. Using the mauve color for the center of the ears would give this pattern a little twist. Sweet yarn will provide you the same look as in the pattern as both yarns are a super bulky chenille-style yarn.

Due to the nature of the yarn the ends can be a little harder to manage the first time you use it. Head to my YouTube channel to see my video about joining a new ball of sweet yarn to your project.Join a new ball of Red Heart Sweet Yarn- Video Tutorial by Marly Bird

C2C Bunny Pillow ShamWhen I discovered the wreath pattern on Repeat Crafter Me’s (C2C Queen) website I also saw her latest Corner-to-Corner design.  As another crochet Easter pattern she has created a pillow sham to fit a standard queen size pillow picturing the backside of bunnies. Including their bushy tails!

Red Heart Super SaverBernat Super Value is featured in this pattern but could easily be change to Red Heart Super Saver to achieve the same look. Some of you may not have ventured into the C2C world yet and that is okay. I have a blog post on Corner-to-Corner and it includes a video tutorial that shows you how to do the technique. My video tutorial shows you how to do C2C in half double crochet, my preferred stitch, but the concept will transfer easily to double crochet stitches as well.

Snuggle Bunny PillowsAll About Ami designed another cute bunny pillow pattern for Easter, the Snuggle Bunny Pillows. This pattern calls for Lion Brand Fast Track yarn which is a super bulky t-shirt tape yarn.

Red Heart StrataRed Heart’s Strata is a nice alternative. It is composed of Nylon and Acrylic and will give you the same feel of the t-shirt type yarns. For the embellishments you can use Red Heart’s Creme de la Creme cotton yarn.

It's Carrots for You BasketFollowing along with our bunny theme I found two cute baskets that could be finished quickly for your Easter events. The first is a carrot basket designed by Divine Debris. In the It’s Carrots for You basket you will be able to use Red Heart Super Saver. Designed using tapestry crochet not only could you make a cute and quick Easter pattern but also learn a new technique.

Long Eared Bunny BasketMoogly also published a cute basket called the Long Eared Bunny Basket. Red Heart’s Grande yarn would be a great choice for this pattern as well.Red Heart Grande

The final pattern I have for you in my Quick and FREE Crochet Easter Pattern Roundup is a set of egg shaped placemats designed by Linda Permann. Linda’s Easter Egg Placemat pattern is designed in Red Heart Super Saver. Super Saver offers you a lot of options to make the perfect striped egg for your family. These would be great for Easter morning breakfast and for the whole family at Easter dinner.

Hopefully you loved these patterns as much as I did and you will try to make some of them for Easter.
