The Curse of the Boyfriend Sweater, is it real?

I am sure that you have heard of the Curse of the Boyfriend Sweater. If not, it is suggested that if you make a sweater for your boyfriend you will break up with them before you finish the sweater! In this new book by Alanna Okun you can hear about her knitting journey and how knitting really tells the story of our lives.

Alanna was delightful and I would love to get her book. Alpaca is one of my favorite yarns but mostly I love to just knit and crochet.

I loved this interview, and am excited to read the Curse of the Boyfriend sweater. Besides goats, I have been lobbying my husband for an alpaca. So far, no luck on either, even though Alpacas and goats are very cute.

I loved listening to Alana’s audiobook while knitting with ALPACA ❤️ Just love her writing style and can so relate to every storyline. I borrowed this audiobook from my local library and would love to own my very own hardcover edition. Such a delightful guest, look forward to her next visit on your show, Marly

Loved hearing Alanna read. I found it very interesting that she, like so many these days, are so fascinated with Alpacas. I’ve never worked with Alpaca yarn but they are cute little critters.

Just love listening to Alannas book description. I am intrigued. Alpaca book in my purse so I have something to do away from home, crochet or knitting also. I’ve not knit with alpaca but it’s on my bucket list. Keep up the good work Marly, love this interview.

It was a fun Yarn Thing Podcast with Marly Bird and Alanna Okun. The Curse of the Boyfriend Sweater sounds like a great book. I’m also from Poughkeepsie and went to Marist. I also like cheesy puns so I guess alpaca bag full of alpaca yarn to crochet something to reverse the curse.
