Alanna was delightful and I would love to get her book. Alpaca is one of my favorite yarns but mostly I love to just knit and crochet.
If I am able to win this fantastical book, I’ll be smiling like an Alpaca
Enjoyed this episode and want to get a book. I hope I can alpaca a free one.
Alpaca – not sure I will ever be able to afford it but I am putting this book on my wish list. I really enjoyed the reading today. Thank you!
I loved this interview, and am excited to read the Curse of the Boyfriend sweater. Besides goats, I have been lobbying my husband for an alpaca. So far, no luck on either, even though Alpacas and goats are very cute.
I love the book My Mama is a Llama! Or is that an Alpaca? Anyway- I can’t wait to read your new book about the boyfriend sweater!
I too love the cute smiley Alpacas but cannot wear it or work with it!
Great interview! I look forward to more books by Alanna…maybe one about an Alpaca!
I loved the interview with Alana, she is so bubbly & energetic. I hope I win this book. If I do, I will crochet a boyfriend sweater with ALPACA yarn.
I loved listening to Alana’s audiobook while knitting with ALPACA ❤️ Just love her writing style and can so relate to every storyline. I borrowed this audiobook from my local library and would love to own my very own hardcover edition. Such a delightful guest, look forward to her next visit on your show, Marly
Great show today! Alanna I can not wait to read your book, but will end up listening to the audio-book….probably while using some Alpaca yarn.
Another awesome guest and podcast. Alpaca would make a wonderful boyfriend sweater – if you dare!!
Loved listening to your podcast today and the book sounds fantastic. Would love to win a copy. Hope you have a great day! Alpaca
Loved hearing Alanna read. I found it very interesting that she, like so many these days, are so fascinated with Alpacas. I’ve never worked with Alpaca yarn but they are cute little critters.
I enjoyed hearing Alana read. I also find alpacas cute and interesting and enjoy knitting with alpaca yarn.
What a fun Yarn Thing Podcast it was today with Marly Bird and Alanna Okun! I also love cheesy puns, so alpaca bag full of alpaca yarn to reverse the curse on my next crochet project.
I want to win! So enjoyed this interview. Sounds like a fun read, and I love to read. Alpacas are the cutest animal, I love their huge soft eyes and their wool is soooooo soft.
Just love listening to Alannas book description. I am intrigued. Alpaca book in my purse so I have something to do away from home, crochet or knitting also. I’ve not knit with alpaca but it’s on my bucket list. Keep up the good work Marly, love this interview.
I love alpaca it’s so soft. My husband’s sweater is the first sweater I ever knit. Loved the show as always another amazing person.
Thanks Marly
I really enjoyed listening to Alana read. I could listen to her all day while I knit with alpaca yarn.
I’d love to win the book! I can read it while I’m visiting my alpaca
It was a fun Yarn Thing Podcast with Marly Bird and Alanna Okun. The Curse of the Boyfriend Sweater sounds like a great book. I’m also from Poughkeepsie and went to Marist. I also like cheesy puns so I guess alpaca bag full of alpaca yarn to crochet something to reverse the curse.
I have never knit with alpaca, but it would be fun!
Love the podcast, definitely need to get the book!
This book sounds super fun to read. I am enjoying all things knitting related. I am looking forward hearing all the short stories and am curious if there will be a story about alpacas.
I really loved hearing the book exerpt that Alanna read on the show. And I also think Alpacas are cute. I’m going to ask my local library to order a copy of this book and I will probably be buying it myself. Thanks for the podcast.

Can’t wait to listen/read this book. Loved the essay, since I have finally decided to FROG a half-finished alpaca/merino shawl. Thank you so much for this giveaway!!!

Loved listening to this podcast. I loved the fact that it also realates to life. I have never made a sweater for anyone. Maybe one day I will tempt this project. I love listening to your show Marly. Keep up the great work.
I’m such a fan of alpacas not just for their fiber but also for their cute cuddly faces! I’ve got the book on my reading list and hope to be able to read it sooner rather than later.
Wonderful podcast, I really want to read this book, it’s the marriage of my two favorite things- yarning and reading! ALPACA
Well, there’s another book on my reading list! And yeay, Alpaca! It’s such a warm and squshy yarn!
