Tournament of Stitches Mystery Make-Along:

If you don’t know what the Tournament of Stitches Mystery Make-Along (TOS) is all about, head over to the blog post and learn all the details before getting started.

This weeks instructions are a using the same stitches as last week but the position of the slip stitches makes for a different pattern. It will require a bit of concentration but I think once you get through the first repeat you will begin to see the pattern and be well on your way.

Remember to be patient and rely on your stitch markers. They will help you SO MUCH in this section.

Color Sequence for Week 2:

The dominant color in this section is color D. We will alternate between the non dominant colors color E, color B, color C, then color A when the pattern indicates to change colors. Another way to think about it is like this, you will change colors at the start of each RS row. Do not cut the yarn until after row 18 when you change the non dominant color and only cut the old non dominant color!

Pattern

Note from Marly — ETA: For clarity, I expanded the instructions below to have the WS rows actually written out under each RS row so you will better know what color you are supposed to use. Nothing has changed in the actual pattern other than making the color changes more clear (it’s funny what is clear to one person and completely confusing to another). I hope that helps you all out 🙂
