The Game Changer Knit Cowl started off as the first version of the Game Day Knit 2020. I knew I wanted to use 5 colors and a variety of stitches but when I finished this cowl, I realized that I had not used a cable stitch and there was supposed to be one. So, I redesigned the cowl to add a simple cable stitch pattern and I also increased the number of stitches.

The redesign meant that I could release this pattern on its own and let it thrive.

After a naming competition in the Marly’s Minions Facebook Group, I chose the name Game Changer Cowl because it perfectly described that this was the game day cowl until a last minute change. How last minute you might ask? Well, let’s just say the testers had less than a week till the game day mystery make-along to test the knit pattern!

Okay, now you know the details behind this pattern, below you will find the full pattern available for free. If you wish to purchase the ad free pdf, there are links for that above and below as well!
