Turkey Trot with Marly Bird 2019 Crochet Clue #1

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with your friends and family. Now that the turkey is eaten, the football games have been played and you get to finally sit down and relax, it is time to get started on the Turkey Trot with Marly Bird 2019 Crochet Clue #1.

What you should know

Of course this is a Mystery Make Along project (if you want to know more you can click that link) so I am assuming that you have faith in me and my design ability and that is why you are following along. So, thank you for that.  ????

Because I know there are some sizing decisions that will need to be made along the way I will be sure to mention little extras in the pattern I think you should know before proceeding. That way, you are not totally blind to the design.

For the Turkey Trot with Marly Bird Crochet Clue #1 I think you should know there are two sizes to choose from:

  • If you typically wear a S, M, or L then you should follow the instructions for the S-L size. This is the first number outside the parentheses.
  • If you typically wear an XL, 2XL, or 3XL then you should follow the instructions for the XL-3XL size. This is the first number inside the parentheses.
  • It is important to note that in clue #2 and #3 there is a shorter length option for the XL-3XL size but adjustments are not needed for clue #1.

For the Turkey Trot Crochet Clue #1 I think you should know this section of the pattern is very simple on purpose. After a day with family I figured a very simple stitch pattern that did not require a lot of EXTRA concentration would not go amiss.

For the Turkey Trot Crochet Clue #1 I think you should know that stitch gauge is more important than row gauge.

Okay, time for the pattern information.
