This is a free crochet stocking pattern that is released in different sections or clues. There are a total of 6 sections. These are the instructions for part 2 of 6

Tapestry Needle, Stitch markers (removable), Scissors

  • Cut yarn at color change
  • Change to new color in last slip stitch of row
  • Stocking Cuff, Leg, Foot, and Toe are worked in turned rounds
  • Heel is worked in rows

Round 1 (RS): Sc in first sc and in each sc around, join with a slip stitch to 1st sc. Ch 1, turn. 

Round 2 (WS): Sc in first sc and in each sc around, join with a slip stitch to 1st sc. Change to Color C, ch 3, turn. 

With Color C

Round 3 (RS): Pull up a loop in the 2nd and 3rd ch from hook, pull up a loop in 1st, 2nd and 3rd sc, yo and pull through all 6 loops on hook, ch 1 [star stitch created], *pull up a loop in the ch-1 space just created, pull up a loop in the last leg of the last loop pulled up in previous star stitch, pull up a loop in the same sc as the last loop pulled up in previous star stitch, pull up a loop in each of the next 2 sc, yo and pull through all 6 loops on hook, ch 1; repeat from * to end of round, join with a slip stitch in 3rd chain of turning chain. Ch 2 [counts as half double crochet], turn. 

Round 4 (WS): Hdc in same stitch as join, *2 hdc in next ch-1 space of the star stitch; repeat from * to end of round, hdc in space after last ch-1, join with a slip stitch to top of turning ch. Change to Color B, ch 1, turn — 49 hdc.

With Color B

Round 5 (RS): Sc in first hdc and in each hdc around, sc in top of tch, join with a slip stitch to 1st sc. Ch 1, turn. 

Round 6 (WS): Sc in first sc and in each sc around, join with a slip stitch to 1st sc. Change to Color D, ch1, turn. 

With Color D

Round 7 (RS): Sc in first sc and in each sc around, join with a slip stitch to 1st sc. Ch 1, turn. 

Round 8 (WS): Sc in first sc and in each sc around, join with a slip stitch to 1st sc. Change to Color E, ch 3, turn. 

With Color E

Round 9 (RS): Pull up a loop in the 2nd and 3rd ch from hook, pull up a loop in 1st, 2nd and 3rd sc, yo and pull through all 6 loops on hook, ch 1 [star stitch created], *pull up a loop in the ch-1 space just created, pull up a loop in the last leg of the last loop pulled up in previous star stitch, pull up a loop in the same sc as the last loop pulled up in previous star stitch, pull up a loop in each of the next 2 sc, yo and pull through all 6 loops on hook, ch 1; repeat from * to end of round,join with a slip stitch to 3rd ch of turning chain. Round 10 (WS): Hdc in same stitch as join, *2 hdc in next ch-1 space of the star stitch; repeat from * to end of round, hdc in space after last ch-1, join with a slip stitch to top of turning ch. Change to Color D, ch 1, turn — 49 hdc.

With Color D

Round 11 (RS): Sc in first hdc and in each hdc around, sc in top of tch,join with a slip stitch to 1st sc. Ch 1, turn. 

Round 12 (WS): Sc in first sc and in each sc around, join with a slip stitch to 1st sc. Change to Color B, ch1, turn.
