Crochet Decorations for your Home with this NEW book

Walking into someone’s home can tell you a lot about that person. You can see their style and what they like from the first room that you enter. A home can tell you what that person holds dear to their heart through pictures and decorations. As yarn lovers we can make our own crochet decorations to show our love for our craft as well.

Crochet In Your Home:

Crochet is such a versatile craft. Really all you need is a ball of yarn and a hook, and let’s be honest that hook could be your fingers and you would still get an amazing project. Since crochet allows you to easily play with colors, shapes, stitches and textures it is a perfect craft to make home decorations with.

Within Home Decoration in Crochet you will find 25 designs to add to your home. Playing with the color of each project you can alter them to fit the style of your own home. Some of the projects in this book are more functional while others are more for looks. Either way the projects will make you smile as you see them around your own home, or the home of friends and family that you may gift them to.

Let’s not forget that even swatches can be turned into beautiful home decorations such as coasters or wall art. Use your imagination when it comes to crochet decorations and let the love of your craft show.

Home Decoration in Crochet:

Each of the 25 patterns in this book come with charts and written instructions, making it easy for you to work the pattern no matter how you prefer.

Book Review-Home Decoration in Crochet

Looking at the patterns in the book there are a few crochet decorations that are covers or cozies for items around your home. You will find a pattern for a pillow cover, tea pot cozy, mason jar covers, tissue box cover and the like. Crochet is a great way to take the boring, outdated items in your home and give them new life.

Before you stop reading, or roll your eyes at me, the patterns in this book might be ideas that your grandparents had around their house but all have a modern spin. By changing the colors and the stitch selection these time tested projects are new again and fit into any decore.

Think about the areas in your home where you could introduce some crochet decorations and get started today.

My favorite home decor item to make are throw blankets(so I have at least one on every place to set) and also I love making cup cozies, and coasters. I usually give any of these three items as gifts as well. They are quick easy and you can make them match pretty much any color or style pattern.

I made a table mat mad of eight squares of fabric in two row. Then I crocheted around them and connected the like you would with crochet squares. Looks beautiful on a dining room table, makes a great gift and works up fast and easy. Perfect as housewarming gift. Thanks for the giveaway.

  8. Jamie Folnsbee says:

I’ve only ever made blankets for the home. I’m going to try pillows for a charity auction then end of June.

  9. Karen Dunger says:

I love making blankets to give as gifts. A lot of work but so much fun to see the recipients face when receiving the gift.

  10. Mary Alice Helgesen says:

It is hard to choose between blankets, pillows, placemats, and table runners. I have also seen some lovely wall hangings, but never made one. If I have to say just one, I guess blankets come to mind first.
