About Author Deborah Bagley:

Deborah been crocheting since she was 16, and designing since 2011. After learning pin loom weaving a few years ago she was hooked. Once she started envisioning the squares three dimensionally, possibilities for the squares were everywhere. Her first ebook is called Zoo Crew, available through Interweave. Deborah is a former classroom teacher and now a wife, and a mother of two beautiful young sons.

Deborah, along with being an author, mother and wife, is half of the Yarnovations team. Yarnovations was created by twin sisters Deborah Bagley and Dana Bincer, and offers a wide variety of patterns at a price you can afford.

Deborah is a crocheter that was taught by her grandmother. Deborah immediately gravitated to the most intricate blankets and stitches she could find. Her craft took a back seat as she pursued higher education, a career in teaching, marriage, mountain biking and rock climbing. After crocheting stuffed toys for her myriad nieces and nephews for Christmas 2010, Deborah’s creativity and ingenuity took flight.

She was able to convince her twin sister to switch hobbies and join her in her crochet endeavor in 2011.

It’s hard to conceive the zoo crew is made from squares. Would love to try to make my own zoo crew.
