About Designer Knits:
Designer Knits is a great book for heading into fall. There are so many, 22 to be exact, designs in this book. Even if you aren’t going to make them all just looking at the photos will brighten your day. Sarah and Martin have designed a collection of high-fashion knit wear with a street edge. The photography in the book is stunning and makes me want to start one of every project in the book. Even though I don’t have someone to wear all of the men’s pieces.
The book is broken up into two sections. All of the women’s patterns are together and all of the mens are together. Although they are separated by gender they fit so well together in a cohesive collection. Talk about a power couple if you wear it with your significant other!
Each pattern comes with a chart that breaks down the sizing to help you get the right fit. You will find the bust, length and sleeve length so that you match your own fit. Charts are included with patterns that have lace or other complicated stitch pattern repeats.
