Why Treat Yourself to Luxury Yarn

A lot of people hesitate to invest in luxury yarn. One of the things we hear a lot is, “I don’t ever use it because it’s TOO NICE.” However, that’s a fallacy. You deserve to use the best yarn out there. It’s a treat, a delight for the senses, and a celebration of your craft. Learn more about why you should use luxury yarn today.

Marly Bird Patterns for Luxury Yarn

Here are some Marly Bird patterns that you can turn to if you’re looking for ways to use the luxury yarn you purchase at this yarn sale:

This was designed for a 50% each yarn blend of yak and merino, making for a very soft, warm yarn that also had lightness and sheen. Of course, with any of these patterns, you can play with yarn substitutions. Find the right luxury yarn for you!

Check out the whole set – hat, scarf, and fingerless gloves, links in the post. This is another set that was designed for yak blend yarn.

This scarf calls for yak/bamboo blend yarn. Bamboo blends are soft and silky. Try one!

This is a merino wool yarn. We don’t always think of wool as a luxury yarn but if you get a good one then it most definitely is!

This sweater asks for a yak/merino blend.

As you might have started to notice, yak yarn is one of my favorite luxury yarns. This shawl uses 100% yak yarn.

I like a good merino wool yarn for this shawl.

Chemo caps need to be soft for sensitive skin. I recommend a merino/goat yarn blend for this one. However, there are other great soft luxury yarns that work well, too.
