Signature Needles, Made in America || Their Story in Their Voice

Signature needles is a family business that takes pride that their needles are made here in America. Built out of necessity Cathy and her family and grown their company to serve all knitters. Lucky for us Cathy was searching for something better, because we truly get to benefit from it. Join me in this podcast episode to hear the story of how Signature needs came to be.

About Cathy and Signature Needles:

Cathy has been President of Bothe Associates Inc, her family machine shop business, for over 20 years. Previously she was a stay at home mom and Administrator at her church nursery school and the business manager for her community theater group.

In 2006 while recovering from an illness she was doing a lot of knitting. To quote her daughter “doing her 2 favorite things: knitting and complaining.” What Cathy was complaining about was her metal knitting needle’s points.

Cathy’s husband reminded me that her that she could have that fixed and that was the birth of Signature. It was a time when there were absolutely no options for knitters. Signature’s success has been based on giving many options: in points, needle length and even caps on single points. In addition, all of their needles are made to strict tolerances and all made here in America at their Wisconsin factory.

Oh my gosh!! I really enjoyed the podcast! I enjoyed hearing Cathy talk about her story and her passion for having the right tools for your knitting projects. I do have a question.
