I would love a tutorial on casting on a knit mobius cowl. I’ve found sketches in Elizabeth Zimmerman’s book but I don’t think there is a good video. The cowl itself can be all knit stitches with a garter, rib or seed stitch edge. It’s great for showing off yarns like unforgettable or others where you want the yarn to be the star. The mobius shape lays so much better than the round cowl.
In fact I think you could also do a pattern for crochet that would be able to be twisted a half turn before seaming the ends together. I really hope you can do this.
Thanks for all the great tutorials and patterns you have already done

I’ve just discovered crocheting again after many years. I really could use a good video about all the new yarns on the market, especially the verigated yarns. I don’t know how many skeins I’ve bought that only have a very short color way and they look awful when either knit or crochet. I feel like I’m wasting my money and my time. Either that or I need patterns that use only the short color ways. HELP!

  3. Chris says:

I am new to crochet and rely heavily on tutorials. I would love to learn to crochet a scoodie. That’s a scarf (not a cowl) with a hood attached (round, not pointy) and sometimes they have pockets on the end. I know what I am looking for, but I don’t know how to make it.

  4. Sheila says:

I’ve been knitting and crocheting since I was 8, but only know the basics in knitting. Would love to learn how to do the cable stitch, I have so many patterns that have the cable stitch in my ravelry, that it is driving me crazy. I would also like to learn how to do all the pretty lacey stitches.

  5. Karen Lowrey says:

I would love to learn how to do crochet cables. I’ve tried numerous times, but they never come out right. Your videos helped me learn planned pooling when no others could, so if anyone can help me with this, it’s you. 🙂

  6. Rachel Ballew says:

I would love to learn some new knit stitches and knit color changes. I have tried a couple times to do color changes, but it was very hard for me. I am left handed, so that also makes it harder for me to find videos.

I’d like to see stitches, like shells for example, and do a small series of the many various types and how/when to use them on misc projects… same thing with some basic stitches like dc, since there are so many different kinds. People either don’t know them all, so may get confused and don’t try the many different ones.
