Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of spooky things can I make with these patterns?

Oh my goodness, you can make SO many fun things for Halloween! There are spooky ghost decorations like a candy bowl, dishcloths, coasters, and garlands. And don’t forget the spiders for your walls and tables… they’re just perfect for adding those creepy-crawly finishing touches to your Halloween event!

Are these patterns only for crochet, or are there knit ones too?

Honestly, there are both! This post has a great mix of knit and crochet patterns for all sorts of Halloween fun. The list is broken down into Ghosts and Spiders, and you can find patterns for both techniques in each section.

I’m looking for something for my candy table… any ideas?

Yes! You should totally check out the “Ghostly Candy Bowl” pattern. It sounds super cute and would be such a fun centerpiece for your Halloween treats. Plus, who doesn’t love a good candy bowl for a party?

Can you tell me if a pattern is knit or crochet without clicking on it?

So here’s the thing… a reader named Rita actually asked about that! She suggested adding a little “K” or “C” to help. While it’s not there right now, it sounds like a great idea, and the response was “We’ll see what we can do moving forward!”

What if I want to make something more than just little decorations?

Well, you’re in luck! There’s a “Spiders & Cobwebs Throw” pattern that sounds absolutely amazing for a bigger project. Imagine snuggling up under that on a chilly Halloween night… so cozy and spooky!

    Hi Marlybird
Thank you for sharing all the Fall and Halloween patterns. Some of them are really cute but I do have a request. Is there some way for you to designate whether a pattern is KNIT or CROCHET? Maybe just a big K or C in front of the pattern or something like that? Sometimes it will say “knit pumpkin” or “crochet pumpkin hat”, but if it just says “pumpkin hat “we have to click it to see it that is what we would like. This would be a most helpful service if somehow you could do it. I enjoy all your patterns and make-a-longs and thank you for your your fun videos.
    Thank you
    Rita
