Crochet, Beads and More with Beadalon
Combining crafts is a great way to keep your imagination and creative juices flowing. We have teamed up with Beadalon twice before to bring you great tutorials for making your own DIY shawl pin as well as bead crochet rope necklaces. Today we are having Meredith, of Beadalon, on the Yarn Thing Podcast to talk about her knitting and crochet journey and how she stays creative.

About Meredith Roddy
Meredith started building her bead stash when she was just a little girl, and she found a way to turn that passion into a career.
After rediscovering beading in early 2000, she continued to add sparkly, shiny beads to her collection. By day, she am the Product Marketing Specialist and Expert Beader at Beadalon and Artistic Wire after working as a Sales Executive and Assistant New Product Manager there for 12 years.
At Beadalon, she has had the opportunity to travel around the country visiting shops and local shows. Now, she gets to look for new trends in the industry and bring them into the Beadalon product mix. Dream job? Shyeah!
After hours, Meredith gets to play and practice and discover new ways to use her fantastic stash of beading supplies. Over the years she has taught all kinds of beading, demonstrated at the Beadalon booth at CHA, Bead & Button, in Tucson and at the BeadFest shows. In 2013, she got certified as a Ranger Instructor at Ranger U.
She admits that she is a pretty lucky, crafty gal having a lot of fun with it all!
