Diamond Brocade Knit Dishcloth Pattern

Clean your dishes, your body or your face with this diamond brocade knit dishcloth pattern. Easy knit pattern made in one piece and perfect for any knitter to make for a gift or for themselves.

Not everybody wants to use a dishcloth for actually doing dishes or cleaning the kitchen. I use my cotton knit dishcloths as facecloths because they help remove makeup more efficiently than the make-up remover wipes I've used. These are great for mother's day gifts, bridal shower gifts, baby shower gifts, or for graduation gifts (especially when the graduate is a big make-up fan like I am).

This hand knit dishcloth pattern uses a rather traditional stitch pattern in the body and simple garter stitch around the border. An added i-cord just makes it easy to hang off the faucet to air-dry.

The time has come to use up that 100% cotton yarn stash you have accumulated and make some fun dishcloths or facecloths.
