2pm Game Day Mystery Make-Along 2019

2pm Play ????

Rnds 39-42: Purl around

Time to bring this to a close. The next set of instructions will begin decreasing the number of stitches on your needles. When the stitches get too snug on the circular needles it is time to switch to the double pointed needles.

Rnd 1: k2tog around — 84 sts

You just cut the number of stitches you have in half. The top of the hat should really be pulling in now. (updated 2.6.19)

Rnds 2, 4, 6, 8: *K1, p1; repeat from * around

Rnds 3, 7: Knit

Rnd 5: k2tog around — 42

Rnd 9: k2tog around — 21

Cut yarn leaving a 10” tail. Thread onto a tapestry needle and then, inserting the tapestry needle knit wise into each stitch individually, thread off all the stitches. Draw tight like a drawstring and weave in the tail to the inside of the hat.

Weave in all tails now.
