Special Crochet Stitches & Techniques
- Bean Stitch: Yo, insert hook into st indicated, yo, pull up a loop, [yo, insert hook into same stitch, yo, pull up a loop] twice, yo, pull through all 7 loops on hook, ch 1.
1pm Play ????
After the event it was pointed out to me that crocheters started to let their gauge get a bit bigger. I want to mention again that the gauge is 5 hdc per inch! Be very careful and maintain this gauge. If you need to go to a smaller hook to get the gauge then do that. (updated 2.6.19)
Rnds 12,13, 14: Working into the 3rd loop only, hdc in each stitch around.
Rnd 15: Working through both loops, * bean stitch, skip 1 hdc, repeat from * around.
Rnd 16: Working through both loops, * hdc in the bean stitch, hdc in ch-1 space; repeat from * around.
Rnds 17, 18, 19: Working into the 3rd loop only, hdc in each stitch around.
Yes, the project is large at this point but after the next play the project should start to pull in to fit. (updated 2.6.19)
