About Yarn Valet:
Yarn Valet is a small family run business that has been making crafty items for almost 30 years. They started out making a line of hardwood needlework scroll frames out of their garage. Over the years they expanded into kids crafting kits and custom wood products for private labels.
Yarn Valet is a line of tools that are a solution to issues that plague every stitches. Yarn Valet tools are lightweight and stylish. Their goal is to help us all stay organized and be efficient while working on our projects.
Best of all this is a company that has a big heart. Yarn Valet supports a work center forย individuals with intellectual disabilities. All products are assembled, packaged and fulfilled by individuals with intellectual disabilities in the USA.
Yarn Valet Product Line:
The Yarn Valet product line is small compared to some companies but they make quality products that we really need. In their collection you will find six products.
- Yarn Dispenser: “twirls” the skein or ball and lets the yarn release at just the perfect tension. Additional features include a 4″in/cm gauge rulers, stitch marker holders and a pattern holder slot, just for fun.
- Yarn Bowl:ย The rubberizedย ring keeps the bowl from slipping while the yarn flowsย through the darling scalloped yarn director. There is also a skein hole for your larger fibers and skeins. Keep your beautiful yarn out on display.
- Pattern Holder Plus Storage:ย Our Pattern Holder Plus Storage™ is our solution to this problem!ย Paper patterns are rolled into the clear tube and end caps snapped into place.ย The clear tube compartment can hold a small project or lots and lots of notions!!
- Yarn Ball Winder:ย a stick used to wind yarn into a uniform, consistent ball. No need for those expensive yarn ball winders- it is so easy to use! Look for the secret compartment that can hold anything.
- Yarn Keys:ย We know how important the yarn label is. Most of the time however, they end up thrown away or lost at the bottom of our bags. Our yarnKeys™ are designed to fit onto your yarn and attach the tag so you will never lose it again.
- Stitchers GPS:ย It is a set of specially designed, heavy-duty markingย tape strips, created to help you never get lost again. ย Just peel and stick to pattern, it can easily be moved and reused over and over again.

I’m a (yarn) thing collector too!!! I would totally love to have the pattern holder/storage and combine the stitcher’s GPS. I was actually pondering the idea before Amy Evans suggested it! What can I say, except, great minds think alike!
I forgot to mention… I love Yarn Valet’s products and can’t wait to see what other new things that I need!
Hi Marly Bird, happy New Year to you and your family. I want to win yarnvalet. I love yarn things. This podcast caught my attention as I was listening because I too have a small business. Im Currently using fb,IG, are the base of my customers. I’ve got to grow..very inspiring story. Thank you very much.
One of the dreams I have is to go to the Boys and Girls club and find out if they allow me to teach children to adults how to crochet and knit and sew. My other dream is to have a shop right here in Washington, DC and those items from yarnvalet in my bag showing and teaching my students. 2018 I’m dreaming big.
Loved joining the podcast today with Yarn Valet! If I had a yarn valet, he would carry my entire yarn stash for me everywhere I go. You just never know when you might need it!
these Yarn Valet products are fantastic: innovative and beautiful. The video presentation on Youtube was very informative and fun!
I would use yarn valet everyday. All the products she showed are things Iโve been looking for. I especially love the keys.
As a person that loves to Crochet I would use all the products to make my projects a little easier on myself. I have done some knitting but rather crochet. My project that I’m doing now is dish clothes with the Tunisian stitch and love it. Love your podcasts, keep telling us about more products out there.
Love the Yarn Valet podcast
The Yarn Valet team has some amazing ideas! I love both the yarn keys and the stitcher’s GPS. Fantastic ideas and great products.
The Yarn Valet products are awesome! I recently purchased the Yarn Keys At Michaelโs – I love gadgets… especially yarn related!
Just watched your YouTube video with yarn valet. Love these products. I would love to have all these. EspeciLly the yarn keys and the pattern holder as well as the winder.
I would love the yarn disPender. I lost the wooden one 4 years ago when we moved and have never found it. I love all of the other items as well. Thanks!
*dispenser
Wow I love the Yarn Valet GPS that I have already and didnโt realize they had all those other handy products! Iโd really love any of them but the yarn dispenser would be super handy!
I think Yarn Valet products are great and their contributions inspiring! I would love the yarn bowl because I am disabled and crochet and knit on a chair all day and my yarn balls always fall on the floor. The bowl would be a great help for me.
I own a few Yarn Valet products and by far my favorite is the yarn bowl! I take it everywhere in my knitting bag and it always garners attention when I pull it out.
I love how creative the Yarn Valet Products are. My favorite would be the yarn bowl.
#YarnValet (think that’s how I should show the word of the day, correct me if I’m wrong o.o )
Ugh, I want them all! I guess I’d go in order, with; Yarn dispenser, Yarn Key, and because I am forever! Trashing my printed patterns, the pattern holder. ^^;
Oh my goodness! I’m a new crocheter, and had never heard of Yarn Valet before your podcast so I’m really excited to try the products especially the StitchersGPS! The products are so thoughtful! Thank you for sharing!
I saw the podcast today and was amazed at all the products Yarn Valet has. I knew about the bowl, but not the others. My favorite is the yarn dispenser. What a great idea. I would use it every time I crochet. Actually, I would be excited to use everything. Special word: Yarn Valet.
Yarn Valet’s products are amazing. I think I would use the bowl most. I don’t really have anything that really works that well and I”m always dropping my yarn. Great show today. Loved the new format.
I love that yarn valet thinks outside the box. I can see myself using all those items, especially when traveling!
I would love to win it all!! I would love the yarn valet ball winder after a while the short toilet paper rolls hurt my hands. The yarn valet keys to use on all my unband rolls of yarn. The yarn valet pattern holders cause i can be messy an i hate printing other copys. The yarn valet yarn bowl to hold my yarn, It never seems to set in 1 place without flopping around.
Thanks Marly Bird and The Yarn Valet for a wounderful giveaway and a great podcast.
To day was my 1st.time being a part of a podcast and live audience as well. I just wanna said thank you for having YarnValet,I would enjoy them all! The yarn bowl for travelling would be great, then there the pattern holder I think that’s what it’s called it would be good as well all I can said I really would enjoy this everything that was shown today
I very much liked Yarn Valets presentation! So great that her family took their love and knowledge for their craft and created fun useful products. I declared to myself that I would learn to follow a pattern so I could crochet anything. I’m very interested In sticky pattern markers.
Yarn Valet!!! These are all amazing products. I love that the company is small and family owned!!! I would definitely be able to use all of the products to my my crochet more organized!!
I’m in love with Yarn Valet! I need to get their fabulous products to get my yarn and patterns under control! LoL. I can’t seem to ever find my tag for the yarn I am working with. I have trouble with winding my own yarn. I have a cool yarn bowl that my husband painted for me with an owl, but I know I could or would brake it so I don’t use it. I like that Yarn Valet’s yarn bowl won’t break and it’s light weight. I would use it a ton! I also loose my place when I’m crocheting. So the more help the better! I also tend to find my patterns all folded up and corners messed up, so could use the GPS and the pattern holder!
It’s the one area of my life I can’t organize! So help me out Marly Bird and Yarn Valet!
Great podcast. Loved to see all of the Yarn Valet products and how they should be used. Thank you to Amy and her family for creating affordable products for use of both knit and crochet.
This is the first time I saw any podcast about knitting. I think it is great and will return. I am totally convinced I need all the Yarn Valet products to keep my projects neat clean and organized. I love the family that works together and are close. I wish my brother-in-law had place that helped him when he was young. I am so happy they give back to the community like that. Great Job I have no doubt that Yarn Valet will make a difference to many knitters and crocheters. I do both also. Thanks Marley for your podcast I will be back.
I love Yarn Valet. I am an older lady, lifetime knitter and crocheter. When my husband died, a year ago, I had to downsize and move to an apartment. Had to leave my Yarn Valet bowl and spinning holder. I miss them! Hope to win one.
This was a very interesting podcast. One thing that really caught my eye is that I was in Hobby Lobby about a week ago and I saw these products! I did look at them, but not until she demonstrated them did I see how much I need them! i know she did not mention they are in Hobby Lobby but they are in ours. ๐ And, I am so happy they are! Well, I was thinking I would have to visit Hobby Lobby very soon to see what I wanted to buy from them. ALL OF THEM, of course! “I am a stuff girl like you, Marly!” So, I would love to win the Yarn Valet set. Please put me in for the drawing! ๐
Yarn Valet, I have the dispenser, love love love it. I take it to clubs and Kareoke, Library. I’m always getting ask where did I get that? I never figured out how that spot in the front holds the pattern.
But I have a question? Is it possible that u can make a dual dispenser, for when I’m using 2 yarns? Right now I have to take it apart and use the 2 individuals like that and then I get frustrated and just take all the yarn off n lay the yarn down.
Yarn Valet! What great products. I would use all of them. I would start by re-organizing my fair isle knitting into the Pattern holder/Storage because everything comes with it that a Fair Isle knitter needs to keep the project organized. Then I would, of course, use the winder and the bowl….but best of all, I would use the keys to keep all of the yarn info with each ball that I wound on the winder.
I enjoyed learning about Yarn Valetโs products. I really want a yarn bowl and worried about it getting knocked over and breaking. I also want the ball winder from Yarn Valet.
Loved the podcast today and the way yarn valet took an idea and made a family business out of it. Love the yarn bowl especially.
This was the first time I watched your podcast…I really enjoyed it! I will try to watch live from now on! It’s the first time I have seen Yarn Valet’s products. I really think the Yarn Bowl could help me keep my Cat away from my yarn…love him but he drives me nuts while I am knitting!
YARN VALET!!! I thought I was watching the podcast live, but it turns out that i wasn’t :). Too funny, that’s what happens when you watch while at work. Anywho, if I were lucky enough to win all of Yarn Valet’s products I would be quite happy. I have a nostepinne, but YV’s winder seems easier to use. The bowl and dispenser would be used frequently. The yarn key’s seem really great (love the idea!), and the pattern holder and stitcher’s GPS would come in handy on the go!
I love these pod cast shows with all the yarn gadgets. For Christmas I received some of items from your last pod cast. I love my stitch marker jewelry and braclet with stitch counter. Now we have these
YARN VALET which I need desperately. I am mostly confined to my bed after being hit by a drunk driver. My yarn either rolls or not rolls, around my bed doing the opposite of what I want it to do. I am ordering me a yarn winder today and hoping I will win all these other wonderful products. Thank you to both of you for this information and for your gifted, created, minds for these treasures. BTW I am a born and raised Bโham Alabama girl, transplanted to Georgia some 30+ years ago. It might hurt my chances to win these great gifts but ROLL TIDE.!
This was the first Yarn Thing Podcast Iโve listened to – love it!! I too love yarn โstuffโ. I would love any of the Yarn Valet products, but would especially love the winder and the yarn bowl. Thank you Marly – you are a joy to watch!
So good to spend time with Marly again. The Yarn Valet has an impressive product line. Whoever wins iwill be very happy!
I would have use for all the yarn valet products. I like all the extra features on each item! It says a lot about the product that is family owned who takes such pride in their products and who help the community as well! Well done! Thanks Marly for your podcast!
First time coming to the podcast, and Iโm sure it wonโt be the last. I love Yarn Valetโs products and I would totally use He yarn bowl! There are so many beautiful bowls out there, but I would love to have one that could stand the rest of children!
I would love a yarn valet yarn bowl, I think it would be awesome to hold my hand dyed sock yarns!
I loved the podcast today with the Yarn Valet products. It is too hard to chose a favorite Yarn Valet product because all of them are needed while knitting and crocheting. The idea of the keys is something much needed and nothing that can be found in the market. Will love to get and try all of the Yarn Valet products. Happy New Year!!!!
Today’s podcast with Yarn Valet was really good. I had seen these items last year and have debated about what to get. I just needed more information and/ or reviews. After getting a little glimpse of the family that runs this company… I am sold. I am really wanting to get the Yarn Valet bowl, dispenser, and label keys. The label keys are sheer genius! Thank you for a great podcast! ๐
Would love to have the Yarn Valet products. They are useful and affordable for those of us on tight budgets. Loved the podcast as well. I;ll be watching for the next one.
Yarn Valet is so inspirational! While helping us with tools to make stitching life easier, I love their philosophy in helping the community with work/employment. My Aunty was one such worker who worked hard and loved going to work everyday because it gave her life meaning and she was needed. She had difficulty smiling, but in her heart, she was smiling all the time.
I am so grateful I saw this podcast for my first time. I really love and need this yarn bowl. Last month while helping my daughter when her 3rd baby arrived, she made me a DIY yarn bowl out of an empty plastic milk jug. It kinda worked, but it rolled around so much. I had to wedge it between table and chair legs or in a bag. It served it’s purpose and I was able to make mittens, beanies, and scarves for my Gbabies. Boy! It was super cold in New Mexico.
Thank you for your podcast. Am glad I caught it. Yarn Valet sounds like a great company.
Blessings,
Karen
I enjoyed hearing about all the new tools from YARN VALET. I think the products I would enjoy the most are the yarn ball winder, stitchers GPS, and Yarn Dispenser. Thank you for another informative Marly Bird Pod Cast.
Yarn Valet has several things I need but would start with the yarn keys. I have recently acquired some beautiful yarns and already have trouble keeping the label with the yarn. The keys are valuable for knowing the yarn content and care instructions but just as important to identify lot numbers of my many skeins of unforgettable.
Yarn valet is awesome. Iโm going to check out there web site. Some of the stuff I never hard of before I could use on of the bowls for my yarn Iโm all the time rolling up my yarn by hand. They have wonderful stuff on there would site that I seen from your program. Thank you very much I have learn a lot from you. Happy New Year
I’d love to try out all of your products. They all look like great, innovative and fun ways to make our yarn projects easier and more enjoyable.
YARN VALET! WAHOO I THINK I FOUND THE RIGHT PLACE TO COMMENT IN THIS PODCAST! LOVE LOVE LIVE THAT YOU’VE CREATED SO MANY CREATIVE WAYS TO DEAL WITH, STORE AND USE OUR YARN..AWESOME.. IT JUST TICKLED ME TO NO END! YARN BALLER, JUST THE BEGINNING..I just returned to crochet after yrs and the first thing that plagued me… Center pull MESS! Oh my gracious it’s enough to remind me why I stopped. NEW HOPE! TY YARN VALET & THANK YOU MARLY FOR BRINGING THESE PRODUCTS TO OUR KNOWLEDGE VIA PODCAST! HAVE A BLESSED YEAR EVERYONE!
Loved the episode! Iโm a crocheter (but can knit a bit) who use to have a key collection so I would Yarn Valet to the max with the yarn keys lol. Such a fun yet practical idea! Thanks for the opportunity!
What a generous give away! I loved, and want, all of these products. My priority in purchasing them will most likely be the yarn dispenser and keys.
I too am a “gadget” girl! I did not know that any of these tools existed but would love to have them all. That is why I love watching Marly. I learn something every time. It would be difficult to decide which tool I like the best but if I had to it would be a tie between the dispenser and the keys. The dispenser is a need of mine but the keys are an exceptional idea!
I forgot to say yarn valet. Sorry, this is my first time.
The Yarn Valet product that would help me the most is the Stitcher’s GPS. I have a hard time seeing where I am on a pattern. This is exactly what I have been wanting. All the Yarn Valet products look great and they would all be helpful to use.
Yarn Valet–I would use winder on all my yarn. I need all of them. Great show
OMG, I can’t pick just 1. I guess I’d start with the pattern keeper & the GPS, I’ve been using page protecters, and dry erase markers to keep track of where I am on my pattern, and any draft or breeze can send it to the floor. The yarn bowl, and or the despinser would be awesome, even when working on a project while in bed. I wanted you to know I’ve seen your products in my local Michael’s, and on Amazon, so even if I don’t win them here, I’ll be buying them all at some point.
It was a great blog today. I would love and use all of the yarn valet products!
I have had two of the products in my Amazon cart since before Christmas but my husband didn’t take the hint. I’d love the yarn bowl and ball winder. I crochet on a daily basis and those products would be amazing!!!
Fantastic Blog today! Such great products, I have a gaggle of little boys who seem to flock to me when I crochet at night…the pattern holder, yarn spinner, and keys would be a lifesaver to me! Well done Yarn Valet, great ideas to make crafting orderly and protected from many little fingers!
Looking forward to seeing more products ๐
Ok I would probably use the yarn valet yarn bowl more than anything. Yes it will keep my yarn clean and tidy but also…BONUS…when I’m between projects that bowl will hold a generous helping of moose tracks ice cream! Yay Yarn Valet!
Yarn Valet family very creative, I could use every one of those items
I want to win!
Yarn Valet, and I would use them ALL:) but the yarn bowl is my pick.
Thank you Marly for telling me how to get here. The yarn valet products are awesome. I would love to have them all. I would love to wind all my partial yarn messes and use the bowl or the dispenser to make my projects easily.
“Yarn Valet” has very interesting tools for knitting. I would love to win. I saw the yarn winder at Michael’s and wanted to buy it a while back. All the products are very nice and practical.
What a wonderful, generous prize from yarn valet! Thanks for the opportunity to win.
I work at Michaels and manage the yarn department. It was great hearing more about this company yarn valet. I would use the winder the most. I have a wooden one but it doesnt have the notch on top to hold the yarn for the pull. Great idea and I love the innovative products. Itโs nice to hear about a small family owned business doing well. Awesome.
What a fun podcast! I truly enjoyed hearing about the new yarn products, including the yarn valet. I would certainly use it to keep my yarns from tangling while I knit. All of the products seem so useful. Great story behind the company too.
I am excited about all the fun Yarn Valet products!! I am looking forward to trying out the Stitchers GPS on both my knitting and crochet patterns!
I enjoyed watching a podcast. Not only would I enjoy using every one of the yard valet products, but I am especially impressed with a family run, American made , community helping company. All that plus great products make yarn valet a company worth supporting
Want to win yarn valet!
Thank you for another wonderful podcast. I missed you while you were on break. I would so so love to win the yarn valet products! I would use them everywhere. I love to crochet at my lunch break while at work. I go down to the cafeteria with whatever project Iโm working on. People want to know about the project Iโm working on. They enjoy seeing and even touching the pretty yarns I use. I sometimes give lessons. I would love to be able to show off all of these wonderful yarn valet products while Iโm out and about crocheting in public at work, at the doctors office, at the post office, and even at the auto mechanic shop.
I loved the products from the *Yarn Valet* ! I would love to have all of them because every knitter and crocheter has a need for each and every one of these handy tools! I also love the fact that they are truly blessing the community with jobs that are enhancing lives in such a positive way! Thanks for bringing Amy and her family’s business to the podcast. Very interesting and informative!
I loved all the yarn valet items. I have some cancer in my family and Knitting relieves my stress. All of the products would help Knitting go smoothly. Continue coming up with new ideas. Thanks for the give aways.
My daughter gave me the Yarn Dispenser for Christmas and I love it! I would live to have the Yarn Bowl as well but then again, all the products are awesome!!
I really need a bowl or a winder. My yarn is constantly tangled up with two puppies and 4 kids. I usually knit in my car while waiting for the kids school or at long stop lights or drive thrus!
The Yarn Valet has awesome products! Things I didn’t even know I needed! The yarn ball winder is a great answer to the more expensive winders, and the dispenser is perfect for keeping the balls from ending up under the chair!
I would love to use your products! I am a crocheter with 4 little ones 4 and under so I would use the yarn valet products to help me keep track of my spot in my projects and keep my yarn balls in one piece! So excited to see small businesses flourish. Congrats.
I’m super excited about all the Yarn Valet products. The Yarn Keys are blowing my mind. Genius! I would probably use the Yarn Bowl the most. Thanks Marly for introducing me to this great company.
Love all the Yarn Valet products! My favorite one is the yarn bowl!
Yarn Valet podcast with you and Amy was really a great way to spend my time and finding out about their products and how the family came together to promote the business. I loved the yarn keys, ball winder, yarn bowl, and the other products. I just returned to knitting and crochet. To win the products would really be great. Thanks!!
Im learning all about the world of knitting and crocheting. It was great to learn how many cool accesories Yarn Valet has. I would love the yarn dispenser. It would help a lot.
I’m so happy you’re back! Yarn Valet- loved seeing your products I “need” the yarn winder, bowl, dispenser and gps strips. Every time a new one came up, I thought-I got to have that!
Would really love to try ALL of the Yarn Valet products, especially the yarn winder and bowl!
Yarn Valet, I would use the yarn bowl and yarn winder!! Great informative Podcast.
WOWโผ๏ธ This Yarn Valet give-a-way is so generousโผ๏ธI am going to be day dreaming of all the ways I can organize and streamline my crochet projects in 2018. Thank you Yarn Valet and thank you Marly for another fun and informative podcast.
Happy New Year Kathy
A valet takes care of a person needs. So I just luv their name. I would love each product you discussed on the pod cast. Mostly the yarn bowl because you can remove yarn without cutting. I hate dealing with ends. Pass on, please make something to keep me from losing my crochet hook when I put down a project. Maybe a stitch marker with something to hold the hook also? You are wonderful problem solvers. Thanks Marly for bringing yarn valet on your show.
I would love the Yarn Valet Stitchers GPS! They look fantastic & I love their reusability! Thanks for the interview. I really loved hearing their “story”! It makes me want to support them even more?
The product I liked the most was the yarn winder. I HATE getting out my swift. It is such a hassle to set up on my table. I have no place to leave it up all the time. Very clever products in this grouping. Thank you.
I really enjoyed learning about yarn valet products and how they were made. I wish them a lot of success.
I watched yarn valet a day late but I am like Marley I love the keys, I always put the directions on my work and also a label with my name.
I have a Yarn Valet dispenser and use it all the time. I would love to try some of the other products. Amy’s explaination of how everything works was great.
I had not heard of Yarn Valet product line… I love the yarn dispenser.
Yarn Valet had so many great products. Clever and useful. I like yarn ball winder. Everything goes fine with me until the last little bit of yarn and it gets all snagged together. The yarn ball winder could make this problem disappear. Plus I love that Amy Evans is a Huntsville resident like myself. Yea to creativity in the Rocket City!
I could see myself using ALL the Yarn Valet products. I never travel without my knitting and it is rare that I go a day without knitting. I like the multi-tasking features in the products. It is really neat that if I win, I get all of the products shown on the podcast.
I love the yarn valet products, my favorite is the yarn bowl, I donโt have one yet but would love to win one!
I loved the Yarn Valet podcast! I would use all the products, especially the yarn bowl and dispenser. I like that they are not breakable. Thank you for introducing me to the Yarn Valet!
Yarnvalet – all great tools to have. This past summer I had hand wind a skein of yarn and it took forever (at least thatโs how it felt). Having the yarn winder for miniโs would be awesome! Love the way youโre helping Loganโs folks feel useful, needed, and productive. This must mean so much to them. Great job, ladies. I really enjoyed the podcast.
Hi Marly I didn’t catch the live show so I’m glad us late comers have a chance to win. I have the yarn valet keys. Would like to try the GPS markers and the yarn holder I could put the holder on the table or on the floor while I knit or crochet. The GPS markers sound a lot better than post it notes. Hope I win. Happy New Year to you.
Thanks so much for the Yarn Valet podcast! It was very exciting to see their product line as well as hearing about their family owned business. Neat to hear of their success! I received the Pattern Holder for Christmas this year and also have the Yarn Keys…they’re great!! I’m really excited about the Stitches GPS!! They will really keep someone on track with their pattern progress. I’d like to suggest these could also be used with my electronic tablet, especially the line or phrase marker. I slide my page up to the top to help my eye find it easily. But the use of a colorized tab would make it even faster to find my place! I would love to win that product if I’m chosen!! Thanks!!
Happy new year.
Love the yarn valley bowls.
Sad that the podcast now is only on YouTube… I’ll grab to remember to listen on my laptop. On my phone i cant do anything else when playing the video. Everyone I check messages or emails I have to switch apps so it stops playing ๐
I, too, LOVE yarn gadgets! Love that Yarn Valet is a family owned/operated business! I would love to try the yarn winder and keys and….I guess all of them!
I loved hearing about the Yarn Valet business and very helpful products. The ceramic bowls are gorgeous, but they are expensive, heavy, and breakable. I particularly love the knitterโs gps and the keys. I have been working on organizing my yarn stash, and the lost labels or labels that I am not sure which yarn cake they belong to can be very frustrating. There are so many times I have put down my knitting or crocheting expecting to get back to it very soon and remember where I was, but I donโt remember. I am trying to get better with notes, but the gps could be really helpful. I also like that you have thought of details like being able to attach stitch markers for easy reach. Could that feature be added to the yarn bowl? Thanks for the giveaway!
I totally fell in love with all the Yarn Valet products. I love my yarny tools and these look like they would be so useful. What a generous prize from Yarn Valet as well. Also love that the company helps to support those who have challenges in life.
“Yarn Valet, Yarn Valet, Yarn Valet”!!! What a wonderful conversation. How can I even pick which of the Yarn Valet products I would most enjoy. I guess I would say the yarn bowl is what would likely be the most used. But I’d love to try the yarn winder. Now I just make the solid round balls by hand, taking the yarn off the skein that my husband patiently holds taut between his two hands. I’ll be watching your podcast regularly Marly!
I would use my YARN VALET in so many ways. I would wind all my skeins then use the bowl for my center pulls and the yarn rod holder for my out pulls and use the label holder to hold my yarn info and use all of it for my pleasure. Thank you all and good luck to all.
Thanks Marly for the great Podcast. I have never used a yarn bowl so having an opportunity to win one from Yarn Valet would be great. I would love to try all their products.
Happy New Year! Marly you are my new pod cast for 2018. I met you at Stitches West in 2017 at the PJ Party and can’t wait for this year. So great to listen to you and now I need to go back in time and listen to some from the past.
I am a lover of all yarn “things” and saw the Yarn Valet items at Stitches West and so happy that they are out and about now. I can’t wait to try them out!
Thanks and happy knitting! Keyword: yarn valet
It was so nice to see the Yarn Valet products being demonstrated live. Gives you a real sense of how they function. I think all these products would be fun to use, but the Yarn bowl would work great while I’m at the lake. I wouldn’t have to worry about it getting broken. It would also be easy to travel with. I do believe I need to go shopping! Thank you for a great podcast. It was fun!
I’m super excited about these Yarn Valet products! They all sound like perfect lightweight car-trip tools (we live in Texas but our families live in Virginia and in California… LOTS of traveling…) Thanks for another great podcast!
I loved your interview with Amy. Yarn Valet has come up with awesome products and they are much more affordable than other companies. I like the fact that they are lightweight as I tend to change where I sit to knit often. I think that I would use the Yarn Dispenser the most, and the keys would be great for when I send things to my kids…Gift tag and care instructions in one! :).
Hi! I finally found where the comments are !, yeah! Whew! I guess you can see how excited I am to win the Yarn Valet yarn winder. I normally roll up balls as Amy said too. I look at your YouTube channel on a daily basis. Keep on podcasting!
I absolutely LOVE my Yarn Valet Dispenser! I use it either sitting next to me and spin the yarn off or resting on the floor to pull the yarn up. Great affordable product I found searching Amazon that serves the exact need to holster yarn. Marly, Iโve been watching your videos for quite sometime but had never seen a podcast before…great show!
I canโt wait to put my hands on a yarn valet, as well as the ball winder. The demos were quite helpful.
Wow I loved seeing the products from the Yarn Valet. I am actually from Huntsville and go back to visit often. I can’t believe I didn’t know about the company. Love all the products especially the yarn bowl. I have broken one or two of those so a lightweight, plastic would one would be great.
Yarn valet products seem so very useful. I really like the yarnwinder and pattern holder. Both seem extremely useful especially with their ability to hold extras, a must for times when one needs to keep things together and or when on the go. I have been eyeballing the yarn dispenser and the yarn bowl one of which may be my next treat for myself.
What a wonderful podcast! I’m so happy with the new YouTube format! I love yarn valet! I think I would use the bowl and dispenser the most, but I can see using all 6! Even if I don’t win I’ll probably be purchasing at least those 2!!!
First time hearing about the yarn valet products. I think I would use the most the yarn bowl and take it with me all the time specially when gathering with others to crochet, &/or knit. Its portability caught my attention.
Thanks for the opportunity to participate.
I love the yarn valet products. I would use them for knit night. The bowl would keep my yarn from rolling off the table, and those keys would make packing up easy. All the products are compact enough to travel with, and so innovative!
Amy Evans was such a lively, engaging guest. I enjoyed this week’s podcast very much and the new format works so much better. All the products her family’s company makes are so practical and helpful. I always have multiple projects going but currently own 1 yarn bowl, so I’d love the Yarn Valet and who wouldn’t love having all the other marvelous products?
WOW! what awesome products. I love those keys which I seriously could use. I have lost labels to my yarn which has been frustrating. The yarn dispenser is so awesome which would fit perfectly on my end table where I crochet.
Forgot to mention the key word—“Yarn Valet” love those products.
Although I have been crocheting for a while, I am new to podcasts and now I can watch you on youtube! Especially nice since we can see all the YARN VALLET products. I never knew about them. Too bad Christmas has just passed, would have made great gifts. I think the thing I would use most are the dispenser and the winder. Mmmmm……maybe for my brithday ๐
I love the fact that the Yarn Valet products are made in the USA and that they used the disabled to package their products. I would use the Yarn Valet yarn bowl to take to my knitting groups and the yarn dispenser when I am working on projects at home.
I really enjoyed the show about the yarn valet, its nice to hear about a family run company. I would love to use a the yarn bowl or the yarn dispenser to keep my yarn inline instead of rolling around on my living-room floor lol.
I would love the pattern holder from Yarn Valet. Havenโt seen anything like it and would keep my pattern clean.
I would love a yarn valet bowl. I like that the rubber on the bottom keeps the bowl from slipping. It would make my knitting so much easier!
Absolutely loved the podcast! The Yarn Valet has some of the coolest products. I need them all.
I just found you I have to say so far I love your shows. I am a born again knitter. I have also just learned to crochet, really I should say learning lol. I want to win the yarn valet to keep my yarns clean and organized.
I would love to win! Very informative video. I have the pleasure of babysitting my grandson 3 months old. I travel from the 2 houses. I am sure my yarn stuff looks like clutter to both houses. this would be an awesome win to make sure I have everything I need between houses. Thanks for the chance.
Had never heard of yarn valet before your podcast. Thanks for the tip!
I just came home from VKL and my head is swimming with yarny things. I loved your podcast and want all of the Yarn Valet products! I saw their yarn bowls in use.
I absolutely love all Yran Valet products, they seem all practical, I would appreciated to try them all…
Sorry…I did a typo mistake… should be written : Yarn Valet…
These are great products. All six Yarn Valet products! That’s awesome. I NEED the ball wonder and dispenser.
Marly, I have to say that at first I was disappointed that I didn’t have an audio podcast to enjoy on my latest flight in ‘airplane mode’. However, after arriving at my destination, I thoroughly enjoyed being able to SEE all the Yarn Valet goodness on the new video format. I would certainly use the products while I sit down to knit or crochet and watch the next episode of The Yarn Thing! And kudos to Amy Evans and her family for enabling independence among the disabled. Truly enspiring small family business. Thank you!
I really enjoyed your interview with YARN VALET, I want all the items but especially the dispenser. I think that would be great for my wound yarn balls as I like to pull from the outside.
Hello, I have been a crocheted since I was 12 but have learned to knit about 1 1/2 years ago. I think that the way the Yarn Valet family are helping others is amazing. I have never used a yarn bowl before but it along with all the other products look like they would be wonderful to have.
Wow!!!! I really loved hearing about Yarn Valet. I saw the products at Michael’s back in November. I had no idea they were real home grown USA products. When watching the podcast I was excited to hear that the company was a small family business. The fact that they offer work for a sheltered workshop really touched my heart. I have had both personal and professional interests in endeavors that support these types of programs. I have definitely become a Yarn Valet customer. The availability of products on Amazon is especially nice since I live in a rural area miles away from tangible stores. Thank you Marly for your podcasts and introducing us to such a worthwhile company. Yes I would like to win the contest. But, the individuals in the workshop are really the winners.
The Yarn Valet story is truly inspiring. So great to see a family-owned business being creative and bringing cool products to the yarn-loving community! Congratulations to Amy ๐
The Yarn Valet product line would make traveling so much easier. I always on the road with my kids and I always take my current project with me.
The yarn valet key tags would be a perfect addition to my supplies cuz no matter how hard try to keep the label with the ball, it magically goes and hangs out with everything Iโve lost. Love this new format!!
I have used my Yarn Valet yarn all the time bowl and love it. I am very excited about all their other products. But if I had to pick one it would be the yarn dispenser. Thanks for a great podcast.
I loved this episode! I was so happy to see how inexpensive the products were, I could see the uniqueness and true usefulness of each product, vs. making a product that’s the same as many other products out there. I loved Yarn Valet and shared it with my husband. He bought me the Yarn Valet Yarn Bowl as a surprise because he never sees me get geeked out on these products! I am using it every day and love the quality of it. Thank you and can’t wait to see what else you come out with!! ~ Tracey
Thank you for having Yarn Valet on the podcast! I feel like I’ve heard another episode in the past with Yarn Valet but maybe I just came across them before. I would love to try the yarn bowl, yarn holder and yarn winder! What great products!
I loved learning about the yarn valet. The yarn keys would be very helpful and are a great idea. I have tried several ways to keep track or the yarn info, but inevitably they get lost.
Hi!!! I want to win ! Yarn Valet! I am new to knitting as of January 2018! Ive tried before but that was before YouTube. Now I’m learning and I live very rural area with only big box stores within 30 minutes and big craft stores an hour away but I want to knit with the yarn that in the magazines! This would be a big help to my success! Loved the podcast and was excited to take in all I can about. Learning to knit. Modern technology but we still need basics!
I bought my first yarn valet product after watching this podcast, the stitcher’s GPS. Would probably end up buying a couple yarn bowls too. Great prices on all the products.
I’ve had my eye on the Yarn Valet products for sometime now. I would use them to help me get my office and $hit together, LOL!!!! Love you Marly and thanks for all the laughs you bring each week!!!!
the Yarn Valet item I’m eyeing is the yarn bowl. I love using yarn bowls but now that i have a baby who’s about to be on the move, a more durable one would be awesome!
It was very nice and informative to here to hear how the Yarn Valet products are made. I really liked the yarn bowl and yarn dispenser.
Holy cow! 151 comments. Hoping I’m not too late but I’ve had a crazy schedule too. I’m most excited about the yarn dispenser and the yarn storage where I can keep my pattern handy. During the show I went on Amazon and added all of the products onto my wish list. Hoping hubby or kids get the hint. If not I will treat myself soon! Thanks for another great podcast.
