It’s coming together! Time for the foot of the Crochet Christmas Stocking. The Rattle The Stars Christmas Stocking is a free pattern by Marly Bird and is part of the first annual Christmas Stocking Mystery Make-along Event (click to find out more)

This is a free crochet stocking pattern that is released in different sections or clues. There are a total of 6 sections. These are the instructions for part 5 of 6

With RS facing, join with a slip stitch in the 12th stitch (in the center of heel stitches) on row 19, ch 1, turn. 

Round 1 (WS): Sc in each of the next 11 sc, work along instep stitches of the stocking, sc2tog the stitch at the 38th stitch marker and the next stitch, sc in each of the next 23 sc, sc2tog the next stitch and the stitch at the 12th stitch marker, working along the remaining stitches of the heel, sc in each of the next 13 sc, join with a slip stitch to first sc. Change to Color to Color F, ch 3, turn. 

With Color F

Round 2 (RS): Pull up a loop in the 2nd and 3rd ch from hook, pull up a loop in 1st, 2nd and 3rd sc, yo and pull through all 6 loops on hook, ch 1 [star stitch created], *pull up a loop in the ch-1 space just created, pull up a loop in the last leg of the last loop pulled up in previous star stitch, pull up a loop in the same sc as the last loop pulled up in previous star stitch, pull up a loop in each of the next 2 sc, yo and pull through all 6 loops on hook, ch 1; repeat from * to end of round,join with a slip stitch to 3rd ch of turning chain. Ch 2 [counts as half double crochet], turn. 

Round 3 (WS): Hdc in same stitch as join, *2 hdc in next ch-1 space of the star stitch; repeat from * to end of round, hdc in space after last ch-1, join with a slip stitch to top of turning ch. Change to Color D, ch 1, turn — 49 hdc.

With Color D

Round 4 (RS): Sc in first hdc and in each hdc around, join with a slip stitch to 1st sc. Ch 1, turn. 

Round 5 (WS): Sc in first sc and in each sc around, join with a slip stitch to 1st sc. Change to Color B, ch 1, turn. 

With Color B

Round 6 (RS): Sc in first sc and in each sc around, join with a slip stitch to 1st sc. Ch 1, turn. 

Round 7 (WS): Sc in first sc and in each sc around, join with a slip stitch to 1st sc. Change to Color C, ch 3, turn.

Round 12 (RS): Sc in first sc and in each sc around, join with a slip stitch to 1st sc. Ch 1, turn. 

Round 13 (WS): Sc in first sc and in each sc around, join with a slip stitch to 1st sc. Change to Color E, ch 3, turn.
