- Gauge is not critical in this project. Lace crochet easily can grow depending on how you make your chains. If your project measures larger, it will still be a beautiful project. If Play 4 is between 14-16” in width the final shawl will be great!
- Project is continued on the last row of Play 3 still working on the bias. You will increase at the beginning of the RS rows and decrease at the end of the WS rows, which will not change your stitch count.

Row 1: (RS) Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in first st, dc in each st across to last 3 sts, dc3tog over last 3 sts, turn. – 125 dc.
Row 2: Ch 2, skip first st, dc2tog over next 2 sts, dc in each st across to tch, 3 dc in top of tch, turn.
Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in first dc, dc in each st across to last 3 sts, dc3tog over last 3 sts, turn.
Row 4: Ch 2, skip first st, dc2tog over next 2 sts, dc in each st across to tch, 3 dc in top of tch, turn.
