Designer, Teacher, Author and more…Come Meet Tiny Curl with Marly Bird

Making beautiful projects is the easy part for me. When it came to taking photos of my items it got a little more complicated. Today on the Yarn Thing Podcast I have Kristina Turner of Tiny Curl (author, teacher and designer) to talk about making amigurumi pieces and photographing your projects. Join me live or watch later and learn some great new tips and tricks. Get started on your first amigurumi piece and taking photos of your work.

About Kristina:

Kristina, better known by her crochet alter ego Tiny Curl, never outgrew her love for cartoon characters and bright colors, so she inevitably became an amigurumi designer. Her crochet business, Tiny Curl, is the go-to source for quirky amigurumi patterns, handmade dolls, and crocheted accessories. Kristina’s amigurumi patterns are featured in the book Designer Amigurumi published by Tuva Publishing, or you can find a selection of patterns in her Etsy shop.

Such serendipity! One of my first challenging projects was a little crocheted bear 30 years ago for my niece when she was born. Long before I had even heard of the word amigurumi! Great podcast today with Kristina from Tiny Curls! Thank you Marly!

It was serendipity that I caught today’s show. I’m going to look into Kristina’s photography class, because I struggle with taking photos that don’t look amaturish. Thanks for the info.
