About the Book:

This is a perfect book for this time of year. If you are anything like me I am always looking for a hat or scarf to wear out into the cold. Although I make them for myself they all seem to hide when I need them! I can’t wait to get started on a few of the patterns in this book to make sure that I always have one at the ready.

Book Review-Knockout, Knit Hats and Hoods

When you open the cover of this book you will be impressed by how many different styles of hats there are in this book. I really love that! Although not all of the hats are my style, this is a true resource that I can go to over and over as I make gifts for others who have different styles from me.

Some of the hats use super chunky yarn. Others have beautiful cables. No matter what you like best you will find something in this book to make you happy while you knit. With the new stitches and techniques that you find in this book there is a section in the back with photo tutorials to teach you how to work through them.

I have made a couple of hats this season as gifts, but I gave them to the person already. She is visiting from Hawaii and does not have hats, scarves, and heavy coats for winter weather. So I made her a couple of hats and scarves to use while she is here with us for the holidays!
