For years my family has enjoyed making Christmas cookies and other holiday treats. Quick Holiday Desserts are the name of the game at my house. We have our favorites and this is one of them.
Recently, a friend of mentioned that she had never seen fudge made with sweetened condensed milk. I told her that I would share my family recipe for this awesome fudge with her that we make with sweetened condensed milk and a microwave. So, you can thank Denise Wilkinson for getting me to share this recipe!

Marly Bird’s Christmas Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge
- 2 1/2 cans sweetened condensed milk
- 2 packages of peanut butter chips
- 1 1/2 stick of butter
- 1 1/2 packages of milk chocolate chips
- Can Opener
- Microwave Safe Bowl
- Plastic Spatula
- 9″ x 13″ baking pan
Tip: Use caution when heating the mixtures. If heated too fast can cause the mixture to curdle or burn which does not taste good! Also, over cooking it all will make the finished fudge too hard.
Peanut Butter Bottom:
In a microwave safe bowl mix together 1 1/2 cans of sweetened condensed milk, 2 packages of peanut butter chips and 1 stick of butter cut into cubes. Microwave on med heat checking often and stirring it with a spatula. You want it to be melted together and creamy.
Once the peanut butter mixture is creamy pour it into a 9″ x 13″ pan and set aside.
In a microwave safe bowl mix together 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, 1 1/2 packages of milk chocolate chips and 1/2 stick of butter cut into cubes. Microwave on medium heat checking often and stirring it with a spatula. You want it to melt gradually and not too fast. Once it is creamy like the peanut butter mixture was pour it over top the peanut butter mixture in the pan.
Let the pan cool for two hours in the fridge. Cut into squares and serve.
I will try to add pictures of the finished product after this weekend as now I have a craving for some of these melt in your mouth awesome goodness and have to make some!
